I’m just curious. Did you or anyone else for that matter, ask Governor Kemp about a so called “ consent decree “ with the Democrats ( Stacey Abrams, Mark Elias ??? ) to loosen signature verification on absentee ballots ? Supposedly Raffensburger was in on it too. Is that a wild and crazy conspiracy theory ? No one has addressed whether or not this happened. As a life long Georgian, I’m very upset by irregularities in this election and runoff election. Somebody, please answer this for the people of Georgia !

Here's the problem with that, as I see it. Erick, most conservatives that I know DO believe that truth and facts matter. They just no longer know who they can trust to speak the truth.

The media? Nope. The "media" has spent years claiming that Trump said Nazis were "very fine people"...their "correction" of that blatantly false claim was too little, too late...the majority of liberals believe that is truth and fact, and sadly, I've seen a number of conservatives who believe it also, they just think he "misspoke".

We used to turn to religious leaders...many of us can't do that anymore. There are religious leaders in both political camps stating that what "their" chosen political ideology believes, is God's truth, and they'll quote carefully chosen scripture to prove it. I ran across one on social media the other day that claimed since God created sociopaths, mass murderers, child molesters, rapists, transgender "rights" activists...we needed to show them love, compassion and acceptance instead of being "judgmental" and/or locking them away for "feelings" they could not control.

Politicians? Don't make me laugh. I wrote to my Congressional representative to ask that he oppose a bill in Congress, he replied with a form letter thanking me for my "support" of the bill, which proves that either no one read it, or they just wanted to rub my nose in the fact that my voice didn't matter to him.

When the belief that the role of government in our lives should be limited to defense of our liberty and promotion of the general welfare of American citizens FIRST (all American citizens, not just special interest groups that fill their campaign coffers), that the government has no right to tell us what are "acceptable" beliefs, is considered controversial, we have truly lost our nation.

I follow you because I believe that what you say, is truly what you believe to be the truth, because I believe you have more insight into the inner workings of Washington than I will ever have, because when I research what you say, I find you right more often than not...and because you will say it even when you know it is unpalatable to your listeners.

However, I'm taking that on faith...and I could be wrong. Millions of conservatives are taking on faith that those they listen to are speaking truth and facts, also. When the media, the politicians and even religious leaders have shown they cannot be fully trusted...what can we do?

Your example, Erick, is one that I hope the Capitol-stormers will follow as a definitive path for conservatives to function. Let us move forward in the new way of doing things while renewing and strengthening the rule of Law, faith, decency, respect for all peoples including those with whom we disagree. Because . . . "character still counts and aligning with bad character" definitely does bring out the worst in a lot of people, as we have recently witnessed.

In the earliest phase of Christian development, a believer Titus admonished his contemporaries--and us who now live and profess faith in Christ:

"Remind them to be subject to rulers, to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good deed, and to malign no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing every consideration for all people."

The biggest accomplishment under the Trump administration, in my opinion, was increasing the deténte in the Middle East leading to key players to establish relations with Israel.

I hope conservatives will begin to focus on conservative principles rather than what looks like reality TV dramatics.

If "character" still counts for something" how in the world did we end up with Biden, Ossoff and Warnock? Having lived outside Philadelphia for years, I have been to DE on many occasions. Biden did literally nothing for his state. As to him being from the Scanton/Wilkes-Barre region, he did nothing there except take jobs away. Ossoff is a trust fund baby who has no clue what a blue collar worker is about nor any other worker for that matter, yet he is a socialist. Warnock is not a man of God by any means. He is the worst of the bunch, hiding behind Ebenezer Baptist Church and riding on Martin Luther King, Jrs. coattails.

Good summation, he did do many good things and you are correct there is a large segment of the population that hates the government and that is what he represented to most. As all Presidents, he is a flawed man with a big ego that was put on display but anyone willing and able to become President will have a large ego being President and ego are not mutually exclusive. Obama was able to hide his ego and having a lapdog press did not hurt either. Trump has shown a path for conservatives including the inclusion of minorities under the GOP tent. I worry that the RINOS will miss this in their zeal to be accepted by the media.

None of the good Trump did matters as it will be ignored. The idiots that went to capital hill cemented that unfortunate reality.

Character and truth does matter. It always has. Just asking, do you see any coming from the left or the democratic media. I don't.

The media will stop the 24/7 five minutes of hate for Trump and his supporters to a 24/7 love fest for Biden and then Harris. The silencing of “the other side “ will continue. We live in interesting times.
