I still want a hard hitting interview of Collins. How he couldn't stay put is beyond me, of course I'm no politician.

I voted for Trump. Twice. While I am disappointed with the outcome, there was no "widespread" fraud. Republicans, like many Americans, never have things taken from them; they give them away. The Georgia Republican leadership should resign. The President should not run again. It was fun but not real fun. From a purely existential point, our lives will not be wrecked. We should, however, learn from the massive errors of these past election cycles.

Our biggest problem? The GOP has let a personality overshadow common sense and wise prudence. Conservatism is not about personalities, but principles. Sadly, one man who accomplished many good and laudable things could not overcome his narcissistic tendencies to understand what is best for tomorrow.

No matter how much Donald Trump and the Trump supporters wish it, it really isn't all about him. Welcome to the world of adults.

Let the de-Trumpification of the GOP begin. The Emperor has no clothes.

Has anyone pointed out that maybe why Erick has been wrong is because maybe something malicious is going on. He was wrong in 2016, 2020, and now 2021. I’m not a conspiracy type but it sure has me scratching my head. I think if the Rep do not change election law in there two sessions left we may never get it back.

Georgia Constitution, Article II, Section II Paragraph II:

Run-off elections. A run-off election shall be a continuation of the general election and only persons who were entitled to vote in the general election shall be entitled to vote therein; and only those votes cast for the persons designated for the runoff shall be counted in the tabulation and canvass of the votes cast

Did this law get upheld in this election? Thanks I am a new subscriber but have listening to Erick sense his late night show on WSB

I will say it once again.... GOP is loosing due to the "Trump effect". Those that love him can't stand it... but it is the truth. I love the spirit of 'Make America Great'... as long as it includes 'Keep our Soul in the process'. True, educated, read, and travelled, conservatives with strong values, can't support extremism on either side of the bench. Most of them have Judeo-Christian values (but not necessarily only faith based) which care for our neighbors, regardless of their beliefs. Trump's extremism is hurting the conservative cause.

Extremism isn't part of Trump, blathering is. For the power of Trumps social media stance, his constant chiming in rarely helped his cause, and further egged on hatred toward him...had he just stayed quite and done the job he was doing. Keeping our soul is part of the R problem...Ds will vote/do whatever to win, soul be damned. Rs generally don't have this mindset, sort of a version of good guys always lose.

Kudos to Mr McDonald. And hopefully he's provided a road map for future politicians in their campaigns. All politicians.
