Why is it that those on the Right still think that pointing out the hypocrisy of the Left will have the effect of causing shame and thus reform? You can not shame or embarrass a person, organization, publication or whatever that has no standards (beyond winning) or morals. It has never worked and no argument will ever change this fact.

Ironic that a state that remained with the Union has a discriminatory club like this...

Erick, Is there a way you can do your job WITHOUT potentially helping the left fool more of the dumb-masses of low information voters? It seems the information you so eloquently express may help the radical left alter their message just enough to fool more into thinking the conservatives are nuts. I know MOST LEFTISTS may not be listening to you and reading your material, but rest assured they have a few spies. I'm looking forward to the day when MSM starts quoting you and talking about you like they did The MaHa-Rushie. Any day now you can start setting up those test comments and they will be repeated as MSM attempts to disparage conservatives and Christians alike. God Speed as you continue this journey.

Whitehouse doing this is anything but surprising. For some time I've attempted to say what you point out: what the dems are doing now is nothing new, the difference is these days it seems louder. Is that social media? Certainly. Is that the press is larger and more so a dem support system? Sure seems that way.

As long as the press has this double standard, fake news will continue to be a valid complaint.

"The elections were not stolen. Racism is bad. The country is not systemically racist. The Electoral College and Senate are not racist institutions. In the 21st century in Rhode Island, the custom of all white country clubs should die and Sheldon Whitehouse should quit them or the Senate....Truth still matters." Obviously, like any good teachers, perhaps repetition will win the day. More people should learn these points! Excellent.

"You really think the media and left turning a blind eye to Sheldon Whitehouse’s all white country club while telling Republicans they’re racist is going to end well?" Eric, I have come to the conclusion that....yes...these lies and double standards will work very well for the Democrats. They have been doing this for many years...especially the last five. Hillary patronizing black people "I ain't no ways tired" and lying on a black morning radio show that she always carries hot sauce in her purse. Northam in blackface, Keith Ellison's ties to radicals and the beating of his girlfriend. The "squad's" anti-Semitism. Maxine Water's hateful anti-white racist rhetoric. The current A. Cuomo scandals. All the lies told about Trump and his Administration. Biden telling people that they are not black if they do not vote for him. It goes on and on and on. There is zero accountability required from fellow Dems or the media. These people keep getting elected in Blue states and cities nationwide. For better or worse....Democrats will ALWAYS stick together and take up for one another. Truth be damned. Al Franken being forced to resign was an outlier/anomaly. So, yes. These double standards will work very well for Democrats. They have for over 150 years.

Agree with all except one Erick. You keep saying the election wasn’t stolen, but by all accounts GA and AZ look very dicey. The same people dismissing election fraud, dismissed the Wuhan lab theory. Among many others - Lafayette Park, Russia Collusion, hydroxychloroquine…the list goes on. Not sure I can buy the no mass election fraud story any more…

I honestly could not care less if a club is “all white” or “all black” or “all” anything. People should be free to associate with whomever they choose. The population of Rhode Island is 80% white, only 6.5% black, should we demand that some of the 30% black population of Georgia be forcibly relocated there so they’ll have more “diversity”?

The 2000 elections were the first in which I was a fully aware and engaged adult; it was also the first time that I clearly saw the media's one-sided coverage. Throughout GW's first and second terms I watched as the media did everything they could to make him a global laughingstock. But BHO assumes the presidency and suddenly he's the most brilliant man in any room despite his multiple, equally farcical gaffes (and later, outright lies). I've been screaming for that one standard ("the same yardstick" in my parlance) ever since. I'm hoping that viewership takes a heavy financial toll and forces a change at some of the most egregious media outlets. Of course, I'm also hoping to still see Hillary behind bars in my lifetime. Hey, a guy can dream!

America is not systemically racist. Yet we are headed for a race war if the democrats do not stop dividing everyone by race. Yes, democrats frequently shriek that elections are stolen because rules are followed. The 2020 election may not have been "stolen". And there may not have been "evidence of wide spread fraud". However, there were enough shenanigans in a hand full of states that NO ONE can state with a certainty that the outcome was legitimate. Thus audits and reforms are absolutely necessary. There is a big difference in claiming an election was stolen because ID was required, because rules for mail in votes were in place, because signatures must match and claiming an election was stolen because ballots were mailed out to anyone on the voter rolls whether they requested it or not, having unsecured drop boxes to collect ballots, allowing ballot harvesting, not securing ballots as required and allowing same day, no ID voter registration and voting. I do not claim that the 2020 election was "stolen". I do claim that no one can know for sure who won. Because a few states made a mess of their election process. And that includes at least some counties in Georgia.

In the real world where I live, there is no black or white, rich or poor, racist, non racist, Democrat or Republican. You see I am a nurse practitioner in public mental health. Come walk in my shoes for just a day. You shall see the real America. We are all just walking each other home. There are all black institutions, all Muslim enclaves, all male clubs, all women clubs. I am a member of Mary Martha Circle and I don’t think any men would come to join us. We talk about menstruation and children and Jesus. American Indians have reservations. I don’t think I can go live on one if I wanted to. It may not be allowed. As Rohr says we live in both/and. Why doesn’t everyone try to embrace? Each other. I’m doing my part. One patient, one life at a time. In a minute I’m going to walk out that door and I don’t know what I’ll face as I walk into that public mental health clinic, but I know this. They will fall into my arms. Broken, abused, addicted, homeless, wet and hungry. They will be black, white, Muslim, Jew, Latino, every race, creed and color. I’ll be there. Embracing, holding up, encouraging. No time for so called racism. I’m doing my part.

Studies such as this suggest that America may very well be systemically racist, still.
