So if they try to hire you on as a strategist are you gonna take the job?

If people believe in one standard applied to all, that tack won't work because of Trump's record of separating migrant kids from their parents, Trump's record at Lafayette Square and Portland, Trump's commutation of Roger Stone's sentence, Trump's ten incidences of obstruction of justice during the Mueller investigation, Trump's putting his thumb on the scale of the Cohen and Flynn and Manafort prosecutions, Trump's assault on democracy by lying about mail-in ballots, Trump's corruption of the DOJ with his hire of Bill Barr, etc.

The criminal justice reform bill that Trump signed has its own problems. Just ask Daniel Horowitz.

I'm having difficulty understanding your trump campaign strategy articles. I understand you're a political pundit. I live and breathe this stuff too, but voters already know who they are going to pull the lever for in November. This is going to be a referendum election plain and simple. Strategy is a waste of time. Joe can stay in his basement and trump can continue governing by Twitter and fiat, because the results are going to be the same either way. No one is changing their minds at this point. Instead, let's talk about the "future star of the GOP" (trump's words not mine) Marjorie Taylor Green. That should make for some interesting punditry.

The choice of Kamala Harris has a lot of Biden supporters re-thinking their choice. I read a post from a minority voter who said she would still likely vote for Biden. But, she listed all of Kamala's history as a DA and AG against minorities and poor in a lengthy post about why she could not support this person. The bottom line is that Kamala is a liability with many minority voters and many independent voters. The Trump campaign could really use this as a major turning point if they capitalize on it properly.

Biden supporters love Kamala Harris. Bernie supporters - not so much, but most of them will vote for Biden because of the alternative. Black and women of color will turn out in great numbers for Biden, because for the first time in their lifetimes they see themselves reflected in the Democratic Party. Harris is as much an asset as anyone Biden could have chosen.

"Black(s) ... for the first time ... they see themselves reflected in the Democratic Party." What about Obama, our real first Black president?

I give good advice. And I’ll have a record of all of it here when they don’t take it.

Good suggestion Erick. But Trump should also focus on Harris support of the Minneapolis Freedom Fund, which bailed out a suspect who shot at police, a woman accused of killing a friend, and a twice-convicted sex offender. It is not that Harris is strong/weak on criminal prosecution, but rather that she strongly prosecuted people with minor crimes who didn't deserve it, and she now supports not prosecuting violent rioters who do deserve being prosecuted. As with Biden, she is completely wrong on the meaning of law and order.

Erick, you see to be attempting to politically advise Trump. Why?

Too bad the media will not grill her on her speech today. She said Trump inherited the great Obama Biden economy and then ran it into the ground. Hmmm... also her metoo support unless it’s Joe Biden
