Your writings, which cut through the muck and get straight to the point, help me put my frustrations with todays’s culture aside so I can then refocus on what is required of those of us who are Christ-followers. Ultimately, God is in control. Thank you for reminding us that we are called to live holy lives, love others, do justly, love mercy, walk humbly with God and leave the rest in His hands. You will continue to have my support.
Eric, thank you for your insights this Holy week. I do have a question, did the New Covenant make having Easter Hams okay? I have always been baffled about having Christmas & Easter hams to celebrate Jesus birth and resurrection. Sorry for my ignorance and I would appreciate your insight.
I have a friend whom I disagree with almost on a regular schedule. He is older and more intelligent more educated. we are both Christians and agree pretty much on theology. He wouldn't dump water on Donald Trump if his guts were on fire. I have my doubts about Trump and his behavior but I would vote for him again because his policies were good for out country. More so than many of the Presidents who came before him. It is my observation that men in positions of power will do things and behave in ways
that will disappoint you. I told my buddy that his anger towards Trump was blinding him. Now my buddy
is not happy with me. I see the Democrats working to make Donald Trump the Republican candidate in the next Presidential election. Either they think they can beat him or if they can't beat him that he will destroy him self. It is up to republicans who will be that candidate. Pray that we will be wise as a serpent and as harmless as a dove.
Erick, the primary reason I pay for a subscription, and read your entire post daily, is because you are a man of faith. Your words of support for the PCA were unique for a nominally-secular blog, and were much appreciated.
Clarification: ONLY sinners are going to Heaven, those saved by the unmerited grace of God. Some theological models incorrectly assert that Sanctification ultimately results in being sinless prior to Glorification. Not true. None of our holiness before God can be attributed to us, is only available through the lens of Calvary and the Resurrection.

Keep doing what you are doing. You are performing a great service to so many. We got you, E.
Amen.

PS I hope my fellow subscribers will show me mercy for this question.
Fantastic! This tracks similarly to my research! It will come down to Christ or country. Believers will have serious choices to make....
Well said, Mr. Erickson! Many thanks!

Good stuff Erick. Thank you, sir.
Thank you for ALWAYS standing up for truth & Christ!
"A lot of sinners are going to Heaven"

Well said. You are enointed!!
As I said in my comment when re-posting this to FB, may I remember my social media presence is the first aspect many see of my daily life.
I respect and appreciate your theological writings. I tune in to you because of it, I need it.
I don't want to distract from it... but, in my best Robert De Niro voice, "cancel this you liberal progies".
Amen to that, brother! Keep up the good work spreading your faith in Jesus!
Right! But it’s OK to hate Trump… and it’s OK to disparage his supporters… because he’s OLD… and mean…
