While the bodies of the victims at a Christian school in Madison, Wisconsin were still warm, Joe Biden - like Barack Obama - used the tragedy to demand gun control.
You won’t stop these things but there are ways to prevent it. And it is amazing how today even with all the news administration of schools don’t take this stuff seriously.
Recently at my daughter’s high school, I won’t mention which one. But once I tell the story of you know you know.
A kid posted a pic with a gun on FB saying how he was going to layout some kids.
The kid was disciplined by the school which included in school counseling but the parents were never notified.
It took a concerned parent to post the information on next door for all of us to email the principal to suspend or expel the kid. The first reaction by the admin was one of lack of concern. Even so far as the assistant saying it was a huge misunderstanding and that we were over reacting. We didn’t stop and even went to the school to have the kid suspended or removed.
Come to find out the kids parents were on the PTA and had a lot of political influence with the school admin. We also found out the kid smuggled a gun on to school premises although it turned out it wasn’t loaded. Regardless it took all that for action to be taken. He is now at an alternative school and is not allowed to return to the HS. But he was in his senior year anyway. He was upset because he got cut from the FB team.
But this is what I’m saying. The lack of concern by the administrators at these schools is part of the problem. And was part of this problem. No kid just wakes up one day grabs a gun and decides to shoot up a school. There is a long list of actions that happen long before. Parents need to be involved, schools need to be involved. And policies that allow for no tolerance for threats of any kind jokingly or not need to happen. We don’t need gun laws we need real common sense prevention. That also includes locking down schools.
My daughters elementary school is locked up and you can’t get into the school without limited access.
The gun control crowd has just completely destroyed themselves.
When they cheered the murder of Brian Thompson two weeks ago, there was no mention of any gun control whatsoever (at least none that I saw). It was all over social media, Left-wingers laughing with glee. The comments and memes about "I'd send thoughts and prayers, but it's out of my network" were flying fast and furious.
With the Christian school shooting today, the bodies are still warm, and they're calling for gun bans.
Some might say that there's a difference between a CEO who led an "evil" company that is responsible for the deaths of many people, and innocent kids in a school.
Philosophically there is some difference, but murder is still murder.
It's pretty clear that the Left-wing gun control crowd is just fine and dandy with murder if it's someone that they don't like.
And these are the same people who were mad with rage because Thomas Matthew Crooks tried to assassinate Donald Trump, but missed.

More needs to be done.

And, while calling for more gun laws, etc., he pardons his idiot son for violation of one of the gun laws he feels so strongly about.
I highly doubt that Joe Biden is actually sending out his own texts anymore, however the point is still a very valid one.
Worse than not calling for gun control, he allowed his people to turn the murderer of Brian Thompson into some kind of vigilante hero.
