Erick, I so value your thoughts and opinions. Thanks for keeping us honestly updated. I live and teach in 30318 and, until a reliable antibody test is readily available and successful treatments are secured as protocol, it’s really a crap shoot out there. And it’s terrifying. My hair looks like crap, and I’d love to be the first appointment, but my stylist doesn’t own 6-foot shears! I got tested a couple of weeks ago and it came out negative, but I believe I waited too long because my doctor’s determining criteria for a test is when your lips turn blue to go to the ER, and IF they admit you, you’ll get tested. Fortunately, I found a different doctor who is no-nonsense. I had chills and cold sweats, my lungs felt as if they were turning solid and no longer elastic. The 12-day fever had just stopped, but as I sat waiting for my COVID19 test, I took my first dose of hydroxychloroquine, the z-pack, a steroid, and a zinc that my mom-nonsense doctor prescribed for me. Yes, Trump promotes it. I’ve had my share of cases of acute bronchitis in my life, more as I got older. But never have all the symptoms stopped 8 hours after take this regiment of medicine. All the coughing stopped. On a dime. My lungs felt elastic again. Granted, the fatigue lasted for another week, but unless this regiment is a new cure for bronchaitis as well, I’m betting my antibodies will show a positive result.

All this to say, don’t take Kemp’s release to mean you can be stupid! Don’t stand in line breathing on my neck, wear your mask, don’t go jump in the middle of a crowded place and drag something home! Just be smart! My co-teacher friend here in Fulton county just lost 3 church members to COVID, and more have it. Be smart.
