Erick, a few days ago you said Biden should resign. At the time I felt that Harris would be worse. I have changed my mind. Biden, Sec of State, Defense, Joint Chief and even the head of Central Command should resign. This is a continuing disaster that will only get worse. Do I expect these folks to resign, no. The Dems will circle the wagons and accountability will be swept under the rug. Maybe it is time for a new defund. Say Defund Washington DC.

It's sickening what our President and his handlers have done. I say "his handlers" because we all know by now that Mr. Biden is not in charge of messaging. He tells us in press conferences, "They gave me a list of people to call on." He then proceeds to read from the teleprompter because he is no longer able to speak off the cuff, and respond from his knowledge of events. So Mr. Biden's handlers are dictating policy and are responsible for this human tragedy playing out in Afghanistan.

To me, the election of Biden as president is part of God’s judgement on the United States, because we have rejected His ways, doing what is right in our own eyes. Even when when we was in good health, Biden made everything up as he went along, and was not taken seriously. I’m horrified to see how the pullout was handled, but not shocked. Prayers for those left behind in Afghanistan, as well as for our country to turn back to God.

just now

Several years ago, Schumer warned Trump that if he went against the Intelligence Community (IC), they had "six ways from Sunday" to get back at him.

Biden is throwing the IC under the bus, and Schumer's words are being proven true again.

It’s a sad reality, Erick, but unfortunately nothing will change. We’re stuck with this sham for a President until his health fails completely.

Elections have consequences. Why did any Biden voter think his lame, weak, cya "leadership" over his past 40+ years in office would change once he entered the Oval Office? Same scenario as the scorpion who stung and killed the frog who helped the scorpion cross the river. Frog: "Why did you sting me after I helped you?" Scorpion: "It's my nature". Piss poor, blame-spreading leadership is Biden's nature.

“I am absolutely appalled and literally horrified we left Americans there,” one administration official told POLITICO.

Evidently not appalled enough to resign in protest though. Words without action are meaningless.

When I logged into the Internet this morning, the "top news" story on MSNBC was "Capitol riot inquiry to investigate whether Trump White House was involved in attacks". The tragic failure of this administration is going to be buried in a week...under the Capitol Riot, Covid and the next story "Black Famers waiting for billions in promised debt relief".

They (Democrats and the media) will pay lip service to being "outraged" because the majority of Americans are...then they'll deflect into some other issue their base is outraged about...and Kabul will no longer be a topic they care to talk about.

We did need to get out of Afghanistan, but this was not the way to do it. Americans and American allies have been left behind with no plan from the White House to get them out. Biden does not understand, or care, that he has destroyed the reputation of our country with the rest of the world as he has left Americans behind.

Biden's like an arsonist that burns down a house and then claims "I got out as many of the occupants out as I could." Like most of Trump's policies, (Remain in Mexico, Keystone Pipeline, and many others) Biden had to simply do nothing and he'd be coasting along on autopilot with a booming economy, secure borders, a vaccine distribution plan and so much more.

Why are the Republicans in congress NOT burning up the airwaves calling for Biden's impeachment/resignation? Where is our version of a Nancy Pelosi rounding up the troops for an all-out-assault of this presidency....like what happened (unfairly) with Trump? Where is our Adam Schiff that is willing to be on TV 24 hours a day talking about how awful Biden is. Nothing but crickets.....I am disgusted.

I don't expect to hear much about atrocities taking place in Afghanistan. If conservative press is the only media reporting it they will be dismissed as, "Being political." MSM won't report it because they're not there anymore. And Americans will oblige the cover up by moving on to college football, other sports, then mid-term elections, and holidays between them all. It's depressing in a real way thinking about what might be taking place, and therefore it's easy to believe the lies we want to believe because they make things easier. President Biden's complete disregard for human life would be easier to understand if we simply adopted the crazy conspiracy that Joe Biden is a "Shape-shifting humanoid reptilian." Yeah, I just learned this is something people really talk about and believe. Maybe an explanation for his cold-bloodedness when it comes to saving people from brutality? God-Speed Erick!

Any one who has studied closely the Muslim religion and the beliefs of groups like the Taliban knows that lying is permitted if it helps achieve their goals. No one should ever have expected or expect one of them to keep their word. There are Muslims who may not agree with or follow that idea, but no one should ever reckon the Taliban or Al Qaeda or ISIS to be trustworthy. If any one, including Trump, expected that, they were not being realistic.

I'm 62. Started becoming politically aware in my teens in the 70's. Carter became President when I was 17 years old. Everything from an information stand point was different then. At best, he was ineffective, at worse, he cost this country lives and respect around the world.

He was a poor leader, that lost the respect of his own party in a very short time, with the Kennedy's undercutting every chance they got. Pride in being an American was at an all-time low. Morale was low, with very few people feeling optimistic about the future. We were lost.

Biden stood up in front of the country yesterday and took an unapologetic tone and spent time justifying his actions and basically took little or no responsibility for Americans being left behind. Left behind! "WE" don't do that - ever....

He has consistently misled and lied to the American people. (Georgia voting law is the first that comes to mind). I do think yesterday catches up to him. He was basically saying, do not let your lying eyes persuade you. What you see on TV isn't what has really happened. The Kool-Aid Drinkers will believe whatever comes out of his mouth, but the rest know the truth.

And here is what scares me. I do not know if he is saying these things after the fact, knowing that he is lying or if because he is so senile that he actually believes it.

History is repeating itself. But this time with a President that has far less intelligence than President Jimmy Carter, and with little or no morale fiber.

President Carter is not longer the worse President of my lifetime.

I remember the fall of Saigon well. I was just starting high school. It was so sad. Millions later killed by Pol Pot. This is far worse. We left Americans and allies behind. Biden needs to go.

Very sad. Biden will come out of this just fine. His followers know America is still fretting with what we call the Bruce Jenner types, what bathroom they can use, G. Floyd and how minorities are "persecuted", that has settled in as the norm.

Don't kid yourself, the WH folks won't speak out. They would never damage their brand. We are stuck here for a long, long time. Very sad indeed.
