Welcome! Happy Birthday to Donald Trump. Hamas’s propaganda outfit is suddenly concerned about presidential ages.
Also, Philip picks this back up on Monday. For Father’s Day, I’m tossing today’s paywall so everybody can read all my genius! LOL.
Can Someone Tell Greg Stuebe To Get Some Self-Respect? This is just embarrassing leg-humping.
The Biggest News Today
The Supreme Court has, 6-3, tossed the ATF’s ban on bump stocks. Clarence Thomas wrote the majority. What you need to know is that the Obama era ATF ruled bump stocks did not fit the definition of a machine gun. But after the mass shooting in Las Vegas, the Trump era ATF changed its mind. Suddenly, millions of Americans were felons due to a bureaucratic change of heart. The Supreme Court ruled the ATF could not change its mind and that only Congress could change the statutory definition of a machine gun. Super radical Sam Alito said it was now time for Congress to weigh in, if it wanted.
Notably
The most notable thing here is that the progressives seeking to discredit the Supreme Court are taking the position that Congress must rein in the Supreme Court for refusing to do Congress’s job. On both abortion and now bump stocks, the Supreme Court’s position is that these are issues for legislatures, not unelected judges.
But the people really worried about threats to democracy are really upset the Supreme Court demands the democratic institutions of the republic do their own jobs instead of the courts doing their job for them.

Donald Trump v. Joe Biden in the United States:
Pierre Poilievre vs. Justin Trudeau in Canada:
Now, let’s get “the prick” to give us his thoughts on Joe Biden talking about democracy instead of groceries. For those who don’t want to click through, Joe Biden has referred to David Axelrod as that because of Axelrod’s very obvious concerns about the Biden campaign strategy.
Important Stuff
The F.A.A. is investigating how counterfeit titanium got into both Boeing and Airbus planes.
Also: No, Florida is not setting historic rainfall records, despite what the climate change hysterics would have you believe.
Buzzy Stuff
In Europe, while Democrats are doing damage control here, the press there is really concerned about our President having dementia.
Happy Father’s Day
There really is impressive research on fathers mattering. Girls with good relationships with their fathers are less likely to get pregnant before getting married. Boys with good relationships with their fathers are more likely to go to college than jail.
In Genesis 8, remember that Noah’s sons found no favor with God. Only Noah found favor with God. But because Noah found favor with God, his whole family was spared the flood.
Fathers matter. Happy Father’s Day.

Everything below this point is for paid subscribers, but given the videos above, any of you can share this email so everyone can see the videos embedded above.
Let’s do the deep dive now.
This is normally the point I’d cut this off for just paid subscribers. For those of you who are not paid subscribers, it is $7.00 a month or $70.00 a year. This is a sneak peak of some of what you get. So:
CNN Attempts to Harass Ticketmaster
First, it is really funny that anyone at CNN thinks Ticketmaster has any shame whatsoever, but this really is notable.
Oliver Darcy, the media reporter, is attempting to shame and generate harassment directed towards venues that would host Tucker Carlson’s road show. The choice of venue is only a story if the venues are unconventional. They are not. They are the venues one would normally use to host a crowd.
But Darcy makes it clear in his reporting he finds Carlson’s views too controversial to air in polite society and, therefore, wants to shame venues for hosting Carlson. This is not reporting. This is activism and it is shameful that a news network would engage in this level of political activism to silence someone.
“These are uneasy questions that major businesses will be confronted with in the years ahead as the Republican Party veers further and further toward the fringe,” writes Darcy. These are his views. They are partisan views. They are being used by a news network against corporations.
Two can play that game and CNN is playing with fire here, particularly given its already diminished ratings.
Turn About Is Fair Play
Hamas’s propaganda outlet is upset that some Republican backed states are using materials from Prager U in classrooms. The conservative outfit, like Hillsdale College, has educational materials that can be used in classrooms across America.
A privately funded effort to use disputed videos to teach conservative values in public schools is gaining traction, as Louisiana recently became the sixth state to endorse educational materials produced by Prager University.
PragerU is not a university but a nonprofit that produces short videos that push patriotism and conservative views of history, race, sex and gender, among other topics. Since last year, Florida, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Montana and Arizona have also announced partnerships with PragerU under which the nonprofit’s lessons become state-sanctioned, optional teaching materials for public schools. PragerU is neither paying nor receiving money from state partners, the nonprofit and state officials said.
I would remind the Hamasniks at the Washington Post that blue states, with leftwing donor help, deployed the 1619 Project into public schools. That “project” is factually disputed by even leftwing historians. But the Washington Post did not care about it.
If the left can do it, the right can do it. The precedent matters.
Something Weird Is Happening
This is the first time since 2004 that polling has favored the Republican presidential candidate in the summer. Something weird is clearly happening with Virginia, and it looks like it is in play. It probably is not. But the polling says it is, at least right now in this snapshot in time. November is still a long way off.
Democrats in New Jersey are actually worried about New Jersey. The reality is these states are blue presidential states and probably will remain so. But the summer snapshot detects deep voter dissatisfaction. As David Axelrod, in the video up top notes, groceries are more important for people than democracy.
It is very funny that Democrats are suddenly the ones screaming that the polling is all wrong and it is the very predictable voices who, for years, have insisted the polling was accurate. I guess the polling is only accurate if it tells you what you want to hear.
It’s The Religious Significance That Matters
Put another way, for my friends, anything; for my enemies, the law. Alvin Bragg in New York is dropping felony charges against the antisemites who invaded Columbia University buildings. In Washington, D.C., progressive prosecutors will not charge those who defaced federal property with antisemitic statements. But you better not leave tire marks on a rainbow flag crosswalk.
I suspect we’ll see a lot more people deface these things as religions collide. And let’s be honest here — these rainbow crosswalks are the secular left’s equivalent of Ten Commandment monuments. They are placed in areas to signify fidelity to the religious values of the age.

Market Snapshot
You mentioned polling in the summer of Presidential election years, going back to 1988. I well remember having a part time job driving media around during the Atlanta DNC. The supercilious pricks just assumed I was a deaf drone, so talked freely about the plans for Dukakis’s cabinet after he easily beat Bush. I laughed so hard when Election Day arrived.
It’s a sad day when these schools allow males in girls bathrooms. If these children were flying and the airplane crashed and burned there wouldn’t be any transgender DNA. Only male and female .
