I remember Sotomayor using the term 'Wise Latina' during (I think) her confirmation hearing.

I don't know if she misgendered herself by saying 'Latina.' But she certainly misdescribed herself as 'wise.'

CNN... Court limits LGBTQ rights

It's not just MSNBC, this is a lie. You'd be stupider for reading it.

The left should be happy, they don't have to affirm Christians and praise God, they have the same rights I do when it comes to freedom of, and not to, express.

Oh wait, according to the various dissenting opinions it is ok to discriminate and limit the rights of certain groups in favor of certain groups.

Maybe not impeachable, but all the evidence you need to understand what Justice Breyer noted the positions of the left are not principaled and consistent.

Hey, CNN. LGBTQ do not have RIGHTS over other Americans' beliefs. There are others who will gladly serve their needs and you and they know it. These people are what the LGBTQ have chosen for persecution--not for their talents or abilities.

What is particularly intriguing is that the bakers are not declining to serve people of various persuasions; they are only declining to bake certain items that conflict with their religious convictions.

It is not a stretch to believe a Jewish or Moslem baker would also decline to bake items in conflict with their beliefs.

It is also mendacious and capricious, and quite arrogant, for an individual to demand that another violate their beliefs.

Live and let live.

And they would never be asked to.

It's like liberals saying stop Asian hate and not being offended that many Asian themed massage parlors are fronts for sex trafficking young girls. Saying the later would make them racist.

The leftist on the street is not saying it's ok to discriminate specifically against Asian in favor of specifically blacks , they just pretend that fact does not exist (Obama's)

A big win, yes. But very sad to see 3 justices put their political ideology above clear constitutional guidelines.

I always believed compelled speech was unconstitutional. I am genuinely happy for Lorie and especially happy for Jack Philips. The Alphabet gang is insistent that we must 🙇‍♂️ to their every whim. No more!

Thanks to Mitch McConnel for keeping Garland off the SCOTUS (though I'm not sure it outweighs the damage he's done to the DOJ & America as AG) and busting his hump to getting Trump's nominees Gorsuch, Kavanaugh & Coney Barrett confirmed.

And thanks to Trump for nominating those three Constitutionalists.

At least as AG, Garland’s appointment isn’t a lifetime appointment.

Expand full comment

True... but on the SCOTUS, he'd be 1 of 9 and in the minority on most decisions. But as AG, he's got tens of thousands of FBI agents to go after those he thinks he are a threat. Undercover FBI agents in churches? Labeling/investigating parents at school board meetings as domestic terrorists? Interfering in DOJ/FBI investigations?

A SCOTUS Associate Justice doesn't have that power.

The end of Garland's reign cannot come soon enough.

Yes, you’re right. Garland has dangerously weaponized the DOJ. Biden has to be defeated for numerous reasons, chief among them is getting rid of Merrill Garland.

If nothing else I hope voters realize that this is why you don’t vote for a democrat.

Imagine had hitlery got elected and the senate in control of the libs we would have had affirmation of affirmative action and everyone would have been forced to accept immorality.

I’m wondering if these alphabets realize their unintended consequences. Had they gotten their way nothing would have stopped a hate group like the Nazi white supremacists from forcing a bakery owned by a gay owner from baking an anti alphabet cake for their annual hate conference.

Now they can tell them to kick rocks.

“I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone…”

And no you won’t see a return of “whites only” signs.

We have evolved beyond the need for forced acceptance. People aren’t in the mind of turning people away because of their race anymore.

Gays and alphabets aren’t a protected class. This isn’t a race issue. It’s a moral issue.

I’m sorry. Get your website or cake baked elsewhere. Weirdos.

Praise God. We were SO close to enshrining government compelled speech into law...so close.

Look no further than the 'mis-gendering' bill currently in the works in Michigan.

It seems those three dissenting judges are not free thinker. They appear be getting their orders for opinions they give on how those opinions will play out among their fellow leftists. They are ideologues and not students of our constitutional republic.

Are those three “judges” even capable of critical thinking, or is every decision just a knee jerk reaction? I am disgusted. As if it matters.

The three marxist judges and their minions aren’t going to stop. While this is good news, most Americans have no idea about the ruling. They are on tic tok and shopping at the CCP distribution facility, Wal Mart. Short lived victory. Sorry.

The three Progressives on the court are putting on full display the ideology of the Left and that is that facts, truth, and the law do not matter. Only reaching the desired end-goals matter. The ends justify the means no matter who is hurt, harmed, or left behind. The American people see this. They see who is supporting actual racism in America. They see who the actual fascists are trying to shut people up, and they are taking notice. If the GOP plays their cards right 2024 will be seminal. If they do as they have so many times before done, they will once again snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Time will tell.

I think ‘playing their cards right’ entails voting for the presidential candidate that can best articulate, firmly, and with passion, the constitutional principles and our nation’s basis in judaeo-christian ideas, that has made us exceptional. I wish Josh Hawley were running.

The progressive minority continues, as it did when in the majority, to undercut the Constitution by its political advocacy from the bench rather than exercising fidelity to judicial restraint and safe-guarding fundamental rights. It never misses an opportunity to act as a Supra-Legislature and has more than either other branch of government harmed the exercise the self-governance in America.
