Bless you for bringing this up. I’m a 77 year old widower whose friends and family often say things like “You’re in a lot of groups aren’t you.” I am a Christian. My “groups” are all faith based from Bible study to volunteering to simply meeting for breakfast. My favorite Bible verse is Hebrews 10:24-25 because it’s all about “continuing to gather together.” Fellowship is my lifeline. It’s where life is shared.
I am with you David. I am 88 and my wife is in Memory Care and I live in Independent Living in the same 400+ people building. I spend a lot of time sharing with others about the Lord. So many here do NOT KNOW HIM. There is a Pastor that comes Sunday at 2pm to hold services and a Catholic time is also once/week. But I am full time except the 2-4 hours/day I spend with my wife walking about with her in and out of the building. I am busy doing those things and only on my phone for calls and that is all.
I had no idea. Good info Eric!
Thanks for this info. I did not know this.
Thank you. Great message. I'm in the 2 hour category. I need to make a change.
Thank you. Unfortunately I understand what is meant by self isolating.
