Erick, I believe everyone - including You and your Wife deserve to have an opinion without people giving you grief. Shame on those who did/continue to do so because your opinion doesn't match theirs. That is what America is about - Freedom to have our own thoughts and beliefs without being mistreated by others - if not, what good is freedom. You answer to God for your life just like each person answers to God for their life - no different!!! He alone is judge! No ONE has the right to hurt you or your family just because they don't agree with you. If that were the case, then we would all have the right to hurt each other because we are not all going to have the same opinion on every little thing in life. - Just a thought. (I am sorry you had to go through that just because people want to be "petty".)

It's distrust again. Democrat women distrust the Reade supporters and somehow don't see the connection to Ford/Kavanaugh. Personally I feel sad and tired of the whole thing and just wish there were male politicians that were capable of behaving themselves. (Yes, I applauded Mike Pence's rules.)

Can I rest easy with Justin Amash as President? Probably, yeah. I'd want to know more about how he'd handle a crisis like this, though. Really all I know about him is that he supports minimal government intervention.

Thanks for the levelheaded assessment of Amash's impact. Most everyone else is either cheering or blasting him for his decision. I didn't vote for either Trump or the Dem in 2016, and I don't intend to do so this year, either. If Amash is on my PA ballot, I'm likely to vote for him.

Erik, just like in 2016 you continue to disappoint. perhaps your presidential choice should be kept personal and out of your paid subscription column. Trump was not my choice but likewise was compelled to join the train as a never Hillary or any democrat counter measure. 3rd party candidates erode the base.

I'd like to see the base eroded. The two-party system is not working well for our country. Our politicians have stopped being public servants; they are now multi-millionaires that are more concerned with keeping their jobs than being faithful public servants. The president is allowed 4 years - 8 max - while our Senators can be in place well into their 80's!

Term limits, campaign finance reform and viable third-party candidates will be what actually makes a lasting change in our government.

That’s what the GOP said in 2016 too

yes but in 2016 your opinion was free on WSB today I am paying for your opinion. I personally think you should keep who you are voting for to yourself. I do enjoy your local opinions however.

I don't even know how to respond to this. Should I not give you my opinion or run everything past you first to make sure you're comfortable with it before I publish it and, if so, should I only publish those things you agree with? This is rather bizarre.

No I do not expect you to run anything past me or your other subscribers. I was just stating that I would have preferred in 2016 as an avid listener and now as a subscriber that you keep your voting preference private and not public. As I stated previously DT was not my choice in 2016 as I did not see him as a Conservative solution to the problem in Washington and he is still not. He is however as much as a big spender as he is better than the alternative. I truly hope he does not screw up his chances and thus the country between now and November.

As to the 2020 election, nothing really has really changed. The media always downplays any criticism of Democrats and always does everything possible to take out Republicans. In terms of Corona virus, Biden and the Democrats and the media allies are arguably worse than Trump in every way. They certainly were against Trump's China and EU travel bans. They certainly were actively encouraging people to ignore Corona risk before the US Corona avalanche hit (Pelosi on Feb 24, de Blasio in early March), they certainly held up aid to businesses/people forced by government laws to stop working, and they want to keep the whole country from working even if large sections of the US have a low rate of Corona infections (not unlike Germany who has already began to end its lock down in phases similar to the recommendation of Trump's task force. On top of that, they wish to replace Trump's pre-Corona economy with a green new deal strategy that is sure to lead to economic devastation. Whatever one thinks of Trump, returning power to the Democrats via Biden is to vote for the diametric opposite of any policy that conservatives support. Similarly, Justin Amash's chance of being President are probably worse than that of Evan McMullin in 2016, and we all know how that ended up.
