On the night of the election, a member of the Trump team called me about an hour after polls had begun to close to tell me they saw signs of a win. A few hours later, a friend close to the Harris team called to tell me senior members of the campaign had begun advising senior Democrats they saw no path forward for Harris. A few hours later, Donald Trump crossed the threshold of 270 Electoral College votes to, again, be the President-Elect of the United States.
One of the more telling moments I saw while forcing myself to watch the View yesterday was when Alyssa Griffin tried to tell the rest of the panel that maybe they shouldn't keep referring to people without college degrees as "uneducated voters" because of the connotation that it sounds like we're calling them stupid, but she could barely get the words out before Sunny Hostin snapped at her, saying "Well, they ARE!"
The other thing the Dems need to do is to quit shaming, guilting, othering, dehumanizing, name-calling, hectoring, and scolding half the electorate. Quit thinking that they are smarter, more ethical, more pure, and more holy than half the electorate.
They aren't better (nor should we be smug ourselves). Romans 3:23 and I John 1:8.
Judging from my Facebook the past 48 hours, this isn't happening.
The Democrats and their cohorts, Mainstream Media, is the main reason that Donald J. Trump was re-elected. First, they broke the one promise they could easily keep. It required no floor vote in congress, no presidential executive orders, and no major media production. They promised a return to normalcy. Straight out the shoot the media went to the extreme to highlight January 6th. Yes, a mob attacked the capital, and it could have been a major disaster, but it was not. The government could have charged the participants for their actions without overreach, but they chose to overreact. The congress could have gone on to try and carryout their agenda, but they decided to impeach a president that was no longer in office. The media could have chosen to ignore or downplay the former president’s actions while he was out of the office, but they chose to overreact to every action and every comment. The government could have chosen to move on but decided to waste taxpayer money on investigation upon investigation. So, my advice to the democrat party is to learn to let some sh##t go.
Allen Lichtman, the so-called "Nostradamus of Elections" who has correctly predicted the outcome of nine of the last 10 presidential elections since 1984, was captured on a livestream repeatedly saying “I don’t get it” as Donald Trump’s landslide victory started to become evident.... So much for Nostradamus, eh?
Remember the "Howard Dean Scream" back in 2004? In that instant, his political campaign was completely sunk. Kamala Harris sunk hers on The View, the moment she said that she would not have done anything differently from Joe Biden.
Otherwise, think about this: In 2024, Trump got almost 73 million votes. Kamala got 68 million. That's 141 million total. Back in 2020, Biden got 81 million, while Trump got 74 million. That's 155 million.
The difference between the two totals is 14 million.
So, in 2024, there were 14 million people who did not cast a vote for President.
Trump carried Michigan and will probably get Arizona too. Thing is though, Elissa Slotkin (D) and Ruben Gallego (D) have won the US Senate seats in both those respective states. What this tells me is that, on their ballots, a large number of people left "president" blank, while casting votes for everything else...
I bet the Dem nominee in 2028 doesn't skip the Al Smith dinner. 😊
Numbers 24:9
"Whoever blesses Israel will be blessed, And whoever curses Israel will be cursed.”
From moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem to the Abraham accords, Trump has been a HUGE supporter of Israel. So I think God has blessed him with a chance to help Israel again. And by blessing Israel, hopefully the US will be blessed as well.
I hope that with the overwhelming nature of the victory, that will tamp down some of the anger compared to 2016 when the Left swore Trump & the Russians stole the election from Hillary.
I’m still pissed over all the stupid Covid crap that the country went through from lock downs to shots that don’t work to dumbing down our kids worse than they already were. I would have to say that had something to do with the voting. We are Americans and we don’t like being treated like excrement sooner or later we get pissed
Erick it's going to take a lot more than that to fix the democrats. It would help to clean house of the Bidens, Harris, Obama, and Clinton people. Maybe start with Josh Shapiro.
All have sinned and fallen short, it is not for us to judge. Churches invite all into their homes, to love and teach His word. We all have sinned and fallen short. The expectations of liberalism is to make everyone think and feel like they do. My point is, be the example you want to be! Be who and what you are, and don’t think everyone should follow your path. We all need to focus on our paths and lead by example, not‘bullies’.
Very disappointed at the close senate losses in Michigan and Wisconsin by good GOP candidates, also Nevada with Sam Brown being such a deserving leader. How did the Dems outperform Kamala in those states?
This is part of what I posted farther up the chain:

Trump got 117,000 more votes than Mike Rogers in Michigan (source: Detroit News election results). I think the opposite was true. It was close - about 20,000 votes of over 5 million votes cast.
I haven’t seen anyone address the possibility that many Democrats may have felt disenfranchised when their Biden replacement was chosen for them? If I were a Democrat and had voted in the primary for Joe, personally I would be a bit ticked off that I didn’t have a say on who my party chose for its’ candidate…
Here's to hoping the Left sticks their head back into the sand and continues along this path.

This time, just like last time, and many times before that, they have learned nothing and forgotten nothing.

"Howard Dean Scream"--was thinking the same thing EVERY TIME I heard Kamala's cackle. Oh how Press Corps have changed.
Cotton, some periods of this election was like watching a Cher Video.
More advice for Democrats: Remember, it's all over if Beyonce doesn't sing.
I bet the Dem nominee in 2028 doesn't skip the Al Smith dinner. 😊
