OK, in order:

1. The press: Journalism schools are full of young men and women who see themselves as the new Woodward or Bernstein. None of them remember that those two were third rate police beat reporters who swerved into the Watergate story when they were assigned to report on the alleged "third rate burglary". Unfortunately, these kiddies have forgotten, or never learned, that investigative reporting is really, REALLY hard work which requires a lot of research and turning over of rocks to see what's under them. Having stories spoon fed to them, spin and all, by political partisans and parroting what they are told isn't being a reporter; it is being a propagandist, something any of those clowns could do. As for the alleged discord between Justices Sotomayor and Gorsuch: ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. A real discord would be the one between Justices John Marshall Harlan and Oliver Wendell Holmes after the Civil War over the limits of majority rule, or the more recent one between Justices William Renquist and Antonin Scalia over well, everything. Try again, Nina Totenberg.

2. The filibuster: Yes, watching the Dems rush to the defense of the filibuster in a Republican Senate would be amusing, but I suppose there's always the possibility, however slight, that they might agree with Republicans. Maybe AOC will primary Upchuck Schumer and make all his schemes come to naught. He deserves it, you know.

3. Biden's speech: There is a special place in Hell awaiting President Mushbrain. Apparently, neither he, Consigliore-in-Chief Klain, nor anyone else has bothered to read up on European history from 1933 - 1939. Britain and France permitted a series of "small incursions" - remilitarizing the Rhineland, and serial violations of the Treaty of Versailles, absorbing first Austria, then the Sudetenland, then the rest of Czechoslovakia. by the spring of 1939, there was no other option but to promise war if Germany attacked Poland. Germany did, and the result was a war which killed 70 million men, women, and children. IMO, the Bidenauts should unite with the Eoropeans, who don't want war, and promise severe sanctions against Russia in the event of an invasion of Ukraine; reimposing the ones on the Nordstream 2 pipeline, which should never have been lifted, would be a good start, combined with reinstituting the Trump energy policy for the US, so we can take care of Europe's energy needs. Oh, and getting those National Guard personnel and special ops people out of Ukraine's a must, too. Then. let's all ask ourselves exactly why we're obsessing about Russia when the real threat to world peace resides in Beijing. Who, exactly, is Putin's asset in this country, anyway?

If our Republican "so-called" leaders take control of the Congress, I believe they should cut public tax payer dollars to NPR. Let NPR thrive on their own. Secondly, Russia has 100,000 troops on the Ukraine border ready to invade and The Biden Administration will issue sanctions. In the meanwhile, President Biden allowed 2.1 million illegal people to invade The United States of American in 2021; what sanctions should we put on the Biden Administration?

The biggest threat to our democracy, is the Progressive monopoly of information dissemination. I see Progressivism as the new secular religion. The missionaries for this ideology are journalists and their brethren, Big Tech censors. May be an understatement to say that min 96% of legacy Media reporters and writers are hard-core Leftists. They want to extinguish their ideological adversaries, and they feel they have a mission to prop up the official face of the Left--a wondering donkey Party.

I love the closing photo. Washington at work. The world is too dangerous a place for a clown show.

Wow. this one sparked a series of comments it would take hours to fully address, so I'll attempt brevity:

THE MEDIA - Hmm, how to be sensitive with this one. Okay, got it! "No single group is more deserving of a mass extinction event." How'd I do?

DEATH OF DEMOCRACY - Erick's favorite phrase "Words have meaning" jumps to mind here. When riots occur after the elections - and they most certainly will occur - Biden will be just as guilty as Trump of instigating them. He's verbally firebombing and that is unforgiveable of a world leader.

CHUCK SCHUMER - Was he the one with the blue hair and the yellow vest in that closing picture?? Oh, sorry...those were regular clowns, not @ss-clowns. My sincere apologies to all clowns for that mix-up.

BIDEN'S SPEECH - He would have made more sense if a five year-old got ahold of his teleprompter and filled it with emojis and special characters.

Sadly, despite the denials by the Justices themselves, those who wanted to believe it still do. NPR is refusing to retract it, and the leftists are claiming Sotomayor was “forced” to lie by Roberts for PR purposes.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I'd love to hear the Trump haters, including Erick Erickson, admit to the fact that President Trump was 100% correct about the "fake news" media, as well as the administrative (i.e., deep) state, China, the Biden Family Crime Syndicate, and most of the other things he called out for what it is. Not saying I want Trump back in 2024, but the GOP needs to unite under a single cause, and IMO they cannot do this effectively without addressing what to do with President Trump, and so far they haven't figured that out. Maybe Erick has some ideas, but you can't simply attack Trump and/or dismiss him. He's not going away, nor should he have to, but he also doesn't need to be the leading voice in the party. What say you, Erick?

Most of the press corps were indoctrinated in elitist journalism departments at major universities. They're merely parroting what they were taught.

I have wanted to say this for a long time. Even Harry Reid died. Schumer and Pelosi are mortals. Just sayin.
