I agree with you that these changes were needed and a good thing... but to echo another comment below, can you provide some of the things that might not be seen as being a positive? I always try to understand where arguments are coming from.. don't always agree with them. Nothing is perfect... well only one human being was ever on earth and was perfect... Finding some common ground on some of the points of the law can be a starting point to explain the good points..

When you start from a position of "I might be wrong" as opposed to starting from a point of "You are wrong" ... you can have a dialog with people and understand and respect their position.. And you can learn more about your position... You can totally 100% disagree... and still understand how someone got to their point of view. This is what is missing in dialogue within America today...

I have had discussions with some of my liberal friends and it's like they are on a completely different planet... Voter ID as an example.... How do you have a discussion when they feel it just is not needed, period.. and they have bought into the false narrative that it is "hard" to get an ID... and the voter ID law is just to keep minorities down... This is not even part of the new law... I don't understand how a person can think allowing a person to look at your signature and decide if it matches what you signed some years ago to allow your vote to count. Versus simply providing your "Voter ID"... seems soooo much less subjective and more straight forward.. so as to provide confidence that your absentee ballot will actually be counted.

My guess is that 99% of the people that are "against" the changes in the law have not read anything about it but only heard their information from the "media" reports... someone else's interpretation.

How I wish that somehow this information could be widespread. Thanks for your efforts toward truth and what God would call just.

You may be and probably are correct that the democrats are "putting 100 on 10" as far as how bad these election reforms are, however In the interest of fairness and transparency, do you not want to include some of the actual negative aspects of the bill? You make it seem as if there is no valid reason at all for any person to speak ill of this bill. You appear to be cherry picking the parts of the bill that have been exaggerated by democrats, while ignoring the changes that justify the outcry. Such as: how the drop boxes are now placed inside the early voting locations, only 1 box allowed per 100,000 residents and the drop boxes are banned the last 4 days before the election. Fulton county used 38 drop boxes in November, now they can only use 8. Dekalb had 32 now can only use 5.

Early voting will now only occur in the final week before runoff elections instead of the 4 weeks previously available. Which restricts the availability of weekend voting.

Voter could previously request an absentee ballot 180 days before an election up until election day, that is being reduced to 78 days before an election and the deadline is 11 days before the election.

The state election board could remove county election boards and replace them with an interim elections manager.

Certain powers were also stripped from the SOS and given to the legislature to oversee the election. That gives the possibility of the outcome of an election to be overturned by the legislature if it just to happens to not go their party's way.

And these election related laws that are being modified? They were written and passed by Republicans. This is all a result of the former sore loser of a president spreading lies claiming voter fraud, when there was none. Thank God that Gabriel Sterling and Raffensperger had the BALLS to stand up for truth and what was right and not cave in to pressure and put party over morals and country. God bless them and Happy Easter.

I would venture to say that what you call negatives are, in fact positives. As for the drop boxes, they were allowed for the first time in the last election as an emergency measure and would have been disallowed completely had they not been codified into law in this new bill. And if they are allowed at all, having them in a place to be monitored is only logical so as to prevent interference. Shortening the time between an election and the subsequent run off is a positive not a negative. And 78 days is plenty of time to request a ballot, as is a deadline of 11 days. Having read the reasons for having the ability to remove county election board members and the process for doing so, I find no negative in that area either. It is a good law and one other states should follow.

I agree with you, Kathy. I also would disagree with Crash that there was no voter fraud in the last election. There has been fraud for as long as we've had elections, but last year was the most widespread and blatant in history. While I don't believe it affected the outcome it HAS to be addressed and fixed. Look at the number of dead people who voted, underage voting, non-citizens voting, ballot dumps, duplicate ballots, felons voting, etc. Those are real stats.

It’s so very sad that truth, reason, and wisdom are being brushed aside hourly. Are people so blind they can’t see what’s happening? The progressive left lies with virtual impunity about Georgia’s election law. Completely shocked yesterday that Delta and Coke felt the need to chime in. I do not understand how the left and their wokeness are now leading the nation. I think the people controlling Biden want to make Georgia an example, lest other states enact similar laws. Other red states must hold fast and enact election security laws regardless of the reaction of the wokes. Wish there were any men and women of character running corporate America.

The Democrats don’t need to be stopped. They need to be destroyed. This is not even close to the Democrat party of 10 years ago. This is a party led by a Trojan Horse, ruled by Marxists funded by the CCP. The deeper I dig and the more I read, the more I’m convinced that we have been victims of a color revolution. I now believe November 3rd was rife with election fraud. Enough to have swung the election from Donald Trump to Biden. Now my spidey senses are telling me this so I know it’s true.

"Christians believe that by embracing this as historic fact and developing a relationship with Christ, a person can obtain salvation and dwell with God eternally."

That may be the best and easiest way, but it's not the only way. The 'vision' of these progressives is not entirely false (close, but not entirely) - read "The Case Against Reality" by Donald Hoffman. "Secularists" can be brought into the fold, but only by their own reckoning

Unclear where you are going with this. The reality we see is obviously not the entirety of reality. Microscopes and Telescopes reveal all sorts of things we cannot intuitively perceive. Similarly, the Word of God provides a view into what we are unable to perceive except in the most limited terms - Eternity and a Sovereign God. We can't even see the spiritual realm which surrounds us beyond our 3 physical dimensions and time.

The only way to God is from God Himself in the death and resurrection of Jesus. There may be different challenges each of us have getting our stubborn minds aligned to His call, but without Him, there is no path at all.

"Best and easiest" are irrelevant. "No one comes to the Father but by....Me". John 14:6 doesn't have entrance ramps from any of our contrived "paths to truth". This is what ticks off so many - we really do not get to control the narrative. "His Way or No Way" really is the case.

The left will obviously lie, cheat and steal to win. The lying has certainly ramped up recently. The right needs to stand strong or risk getting bulldozed by this.

Romans 12:2 admonishes Believers not to conform to the pattern of this world. Many in the church have sold out to those that think they can bring heaven to earth without Jesus. When He returns, we will enjoy heaven on earth. In the mean time, live a life worthy of Him and take every opportunity to share the Good News !
