I’m not really a protestor, but I support the right to protest. I just tend not to show up at those events. I’m glad others do. I don’t like crowds. I supported the protests of small business owners during COVID. I supported the George Floyd protests.
Seems weird you highlighting that Trudeau’s party got less than half of the votes, but their system let allowed him to remain Prime Minister (the system everyone knew was in place as the election took place), yet you didn’t see much of a problem when Trump got less than half the votes and the system let him become president. Hard to explain, really.
Yes, nice to be an American, but this is a cautionary tale. The dems would do this tomorrow if they thought they could get away with it, and the MSM would cheer them for doing it.
Unfortunately we also have a 14th Amendment that SOME thinks allows the national (hardly federal anymore) to ignore the 10th, 1st, 2nd and other Amendments.

Damn Benedict Arnold, we could be eating those Amarica Geese
Amen, Erick, Amen. I love my country....wish people who don't would move somewhere else!
You are right again!!! Glad I live in the USA!
The vaccine mandate got stopped, but did it really?
That "what other nations do" lens is just like "science", the left chooses when to employ that angle...only when it works in their favor.
6 parties? Wow. As much as we gripe about wanting/needing a 3rd party...we see the chaos having that 3rd causes in an election.
So many of my liberal friends have forgotten about the inauguration day violence.
Forgotten or they never knew as the news they pay attention to likely didn't mention, or downplayed it.
Situational ethics thrive in a world where truth is relative.

Amen to that last paragraph... thanks, Erick!
Amen.
Amen! It is great to be an American!
I agree that is the best place in the world, but there is one thing that I think would make this government better, term limits.

Nice comparative civic lesson!
That’s why everyone wants to come here, even those who hate us. God bless America!
