This is another spot-on commentary.

Pity Joe for having to cope with a problem child. He is not alone.

Deal with the issues which are many and growing.

Yeah, if we're nice to them maybe they'll be nice to us. Is that it, Erick?

Hmm... well... the negative branding of candidates seems to work so well for Democrats. The people don't seem to be able to be influenced with talk of real policies, etc... when they can get all wee weed up over character assessment and assassination.

And I have to chuckle a bit here as I hear very little about the accomplishments and policies of DJT from this source... mostly it is a rant about Trump's character as pushed through the loudspeakers of the mainstream media (propaganda arm of the Democrats).

I think you are wrong about this Erick. The President is a brand today. The goal is to negative brand the one you oppose and positive brand the one you support. The majority of voters pull the lever on election day based on "Coke vs Pepsi" when in a blind taste test they cannot tell the difference.

I would say we need to drag Joe Biden through the mud of his own making.

Anyone with hopes of beating the Dems in 2024 must start by de-weaponizing the DOJ. Virtually all the things conservatives label as corrupt and immoral find legal support in the DOJ, either via their direct intervention or by what the DOJ chooses to let slide. Ignore this inconvenient fact now, and wake up to Groundhog Day in 2024.

So why isn’t there more talk about a new and different party?

Shhhhh! It’s secret & the Democrats want it that way.....

One big difference - in 1996, Clinton and the GOP worked together on welfare reform. Harder to talk about different policy goals and the quality of Clinton's policies when you worked with him to achieve one of your top goals.

I truly wish the Republican leadership would listen to this--with comprehension & something resembling intelligence. This is one of the strongest reasons I love listening to you: context is everything, knowledge is only power when you use it, and history actually can be instructive. You have a gift to be able to place current events in a historical context! Bravo Erick!

"They just want to know who is going to get the IRS off their backs, protect their daughters, and fight for them and their 401(K)s."

If voters independent or not haven't figured out which party will be the one for or against that, then this is what I have been saying is a true and real problem.

Dems have never lied about their intentions. They are absolutely for Men playing in women's sports. They are absolutely for the IRS being expanded and coming after you. They are absolutely committed to destroying 401k's so you are more dependent on Government.

These things are not in question.

If a voter is too stupid to realize that or understand that when you vote for a dem, any dem, you vote for those things.

But the problem is they are sooooo concerned that whoever is endorsed by trump or trump himself they completely forget that.

Trump, as brash and unapologetic as he has been has not been shy in voicing that he is fully against mentally ill biological men competing in female sports. He is against the IRS. He is a businessman and knows how to increase your 401K.

I am not a water carrier for Trump, think he should step aside. But the facts are.

Vote for Dem = Anti American, Immoral gay porn in schools, and Trans idiots beating your daughter in sports.

There is no more grey area.

But, the dems have the media who will always carry water for them. Readers of this substack are generally clued in and pay attention. What you say makes total sense to most of us. Reaching the masses, though...
