Humm, looks like the heavy hitters have been released from the witness protection program. They are out in full force even got Ms. Crazy herself, Stacy Abrams. Oh,

and Atlanta’s former Mayor who’s making waves.

Erick, where is Ohio’s governor? Why isn’t he trumping for Trump? What about his other high profile supporters? Where are they? Underground? Why does it seem that he’s out there by himself?

This thing just looks bad on many levels.

So frustrating!

Occam's Razor says that the Obamas and Clintons are keeping their skirts out of the muck and waiting for a reboot in '28. Of course, the post-Trump GOP bench is pretty darn deep.

The conspiracy theorist in me thinks they are playing 4D chess and something nasty geopolitically is going to happen in the next 4 years that they will be able to tar Trump and the GOP with. Or maybe they're hoping Trump will be a self-inflicted disaster.

I want to be cautiously optimistic about where things stand. I'd like to think we aren't seeing the higher profile Dems because they don't want to be tarnished by the splatter when the $h1t hits the fan. I'm more worried about Republicans snatching defeat from the jaws of victory than dem superstars.

Was shocked to see that the GOP would have even 1% of concern about Deb Fischer. The only support her independent opponent has is from the "blue dot" enclaves in Omaha and Lincoln who are so riddled with TDS that Lucifer himself would win their support. Outside of those areas Nebraska runs VERY red which will wash away any pipedreams about Fischer being defeated.

The Democrats are so screwed up in Nebraska that they couldn't even find a Democrat to run against Fischer and, more tellingly, you'd never know that the ever hated (by the left) Pete Ricketts is running also. I honestly didn't even know who was running against him until my wife's mail in ballot showed up the other day.

I think the ultra-elite Democrat politicians (Obamas, Clintons, etc.) didn't want Kamala to replace Joe (they know how unlikeable she is to most Americans), but the captured donor money for Joe was too big to turn away from. No way Hilary wants Kamala to be the first female President when it was supposed to be her. They don't want Kamala's stink on them.

Excellent point regarding the conspicuous absence of those powerful Dems who stated our democracy was risk! As a parallel, I received a video feed yesterday of some financial guy - sorry, I don't remember his name - stating that if climate change were real, there wouldn't be a bank in the world that would lend money for an oceanside condo or resort because it would be flooded in ten years. Lenders know climate change isn't real, and likewise, these powerful Dems know Trump's threat to democracy isn't real. The funny thing is, despite some success in creating a false alarm, they were ultimately too lazy to close the deal.

If Erick can write this: "Trump campaigning where the map matters for House Republicans and not for Trump shows he is going for the trifecta of government control — the Executive Branch and both houses of Congress" .... perhaps y'all can back off the Trump-bashing for the next few weeks and help further this "trifecta" agenda.

That would be a nice change. Seems like they always revert to more Trump and Trump supporter bashing.

Perhaps if they keep searching long enough the Vice President could entice Mrs. Pelosi to campaign with her. What a twosome…and to think they were both in the direct line of succession.

1) I bet the the told you so’s from WJC ended what little like was there from their sham marriage. I guess that’s why HRC turned to the bottle…. That was an incredible night when the glass ceiling did not break, and VP word salad beat her to next seat to the top. 😀

2) My word I hope we get it all, and if we do they actually use the limited power to get some real things done - see the massive debt.

3) If Trump does win I will so enjoy the blue tears of my very blue in town Atlanta neighborhood. When Biden beat Trump you’d thought it was VE Day in Midtown Atlanta. The mindless were hooping, hollering, banging pans and ringing bells like the great plague had been defeated. I can dream about the glum and cranky faces of a Trump victory. Vote! Maybe I need to start wearing that stupid Covid mask that simply says “Vote” all the libs loved wearing back in 2020. 🥳

Speaking of sham marriages, I wonder why the potential first "gentleman" story about slapping his girlfriend isn't a bigger story? Actually I don't wonder, but it sure is telling.

Truly an “empty suit” that folds with the wind. That she could represent the party of Truman, Russell, Sanders and the like speaks volumes as to how the Dems have degraded themselves into meaningless babble.

Time to “take the gloves off” and work for victory up and down the ballot in every state.

There is too much at stake for our country.

The American women who have not sold out to transgenderism and the moral wreckage of feminism, should be outraged about Kamala.

A woman who adultered her way into political power ... a woman who cannot express an idea without babbling ... will now possibly be the first woman POTUS.

If I was a woman, I'd be more than pissed off about this, as it is even worse than biological males stealing sports trophies and scholarships from "real" women.

I am not anything like her, nor would I be. I didn’t sleep my way to the top. She is ridiculous and I feel pity and embarrassed for her.

I am outraged that she is held up as an example of a successful woman. She makes all of us look bad. With her as an example, anyone would question the wisdom of ever giving women the right to vote!!

Great point!! My wife could run circles around her - figuratively and literally - with "one half of her brain tied behind her back" as Rush used to say.

Barely 8 months ago, they wanted to boot Harris off the ticket and find another VP candidate.

How excited they were when Harris was put on the Presidential ballot!

You can bet that today, the Dems wish they had time to knock her off of it..

I just heard on wsb radio that Obama is going to be stumping for Harris today, I think in Pennsylvania. Not sure it’s going to do much good. The more she gets out and actually talks, the more ridiculous she looks. The Howard Stern interview was ridiculous. I can’t believe how weak-kneed he is now.

Re: "Where Are The Big-Name Democrats?"

I've noticed that as well. With the exception of a few comments here and there, these folks have been silent and gone into hiding. There is like, NO effort on the part of any of these people to help Kamala. It really makes you wonder.... what type of inside info do they have?

I thought they all hated Trump and would do ANYTHING to keep him from getting elected?

With less than a month until election day, Tim Walz gets up there and calls for the abolition of the Electoral College. This is a YUGE indication that the Harris campaign does not expect to win this election.

This reminds me of that "Recall Walker" deal in Wisconsin back in 2012. CNN, the cows at The View and the AWFULs were so very excited about it. However, none of the big-name Dems would throw their weight to the effort. Barely any money was given. It was as though the National DNC completely abandoned the Wisconsin Dems. Well, it wasn't even close. Walker won by seven points.

I'm wondering if, this time around, Trump wins even bigger than he did in 2016.

Erick is pointing out what I posted a couple of days ago. Many in the Democrat elite know she is a losing candidate and with her picking Waltz as her candidate mate they can begin to purge the woke progressive crazies from their party. I read a lot about Republicans needing Trump to lose so as to purge MAGA from the Republican Party but MAGA voters are overwhelmingly the forgotten Americans that he brings in. The loony progressives have always been in politics. They need to be sidelined.

I wish I shared your optimism about a Democrat Party returning to sanity ....

Expand full comment

Maybe optimism, but I'm seeing the signs that many want to get rid of the wokes before the wokes come after them. Bill Clinton gave an indication at their convention and the fact that many elites are not campaigning for her as well as their fixation on Project 2025 - which Trump has disavowed - but which they will claim that he is instituting if he wins. I'm old enough to remember the soul-searching the Dems went through after McGovern's shellacking in 1972 and after the first Bush's victory in 1988 - they sought to move toward the middle.

I recall from memory that Hillary Clinton chose to go to white progressive Ann Arbor, Michigan, instead of Detroit, a week before the 2016 election. I also remember a theory that if she had gone to Detroit instead, she might have won Michigan in 2016. In this case, it was black voters staying home.
