The Durham Investigation
January 6th was bad. People attempted to storm the United States Capitol to disrupt the orderly proceedings of the United States government as it was counting the Electoral College votes for President.
Our republic requires trust and order, and trust in that order. Where January 6th breached the order of our republic’s institutions, the Durham report reveals federal agents breached the trust of the system.
It is bad. If people are outraged about January 6th, they should be outraged about the Durham report. I have, overnight, taken note of the vast array of people who cannot bring themselves to care about the Durham report but care greatly about January 6th.
What the Durham report shows is partisans in the non-partisan institutions of the executive branch bureaucracy worked to undermine and spread rumors about a major party presidential candidate and, once elected, continued to undermine that President.
The Durham report shows there was no basis even to begin an investigation into Donald Trump for collaborating with the Russians, but to this day, most Democrats think the Russians handed Trump the election. There is no evidence for that, and the evidence on which the lie is based appears to be exaggerated or fabricated.
To be sure, no lawbreaking occurred. Durham is not choosing to prosecute or recommend anyone for prosecution. Though no laws were broken, trust has been breached. Yet again, the Federal Bureau of Investigation has been shamed for its terrible handling of information and investigations. The Justice Department and FBI need to be cleaned up.
Likewise, we now know a lot of the Democrat congressmen on television were lying about information. They were fed falsehoods from the deep state and regurgitated them without basis on television. The entirety of the bureaucracy not just picked a partisan side but then weaponized their powers to undermine a President.
We live in a nation where people no longer trust the CDC, the FDA, the FBI, the CIA, etc. And yes, some of that is because of bad actors and misinformation. But now we know some of those bad actors and misinformation were from inside the house, and not just on COVID.
I do not believe the 2020 election was stolen. But I understand the people who think it was, and when you realize just how hard members of the FBI worked to bring down a presidential campaign in 2016, you can understand why people would be skeptical of the 2020 election.
In the past, the press would seize on this and do a massive investigatory push on air for reforms and house cleaning. After all, they were lied to too. But in this partisan age, I’d be surprised if we get much outrage or calls for reform outside the GOP.
After all, it is clear now the FBI has picked the same team as much of the press corps, and the rest of us are at their mercy.

I know this wasn’t about the 2020 election but let me put in my last word. The election was not stolen but it was definitely cheated. Take the case of the one person standing at a ballot drop box handing in 10 ballots.
We know now All those people were his family members. He was the chosen delivery person.
But that is in itself not proper. How many of those people would have voted had mail in or drop boxes not been an option?
But due to the, now known falsehoods, of Covid election laws were change to accommodate that. My thing is that it wasn’t stolen. But how many people “voted” or had their vote harvested who otherwise would not have.
This is real controversy. The Russia investigation was purely propaganda for the left. The most recent legal attacks, also propaganda.
And as much as people sing the praises of Ron. Should he get the nomination or even just announce, the left and media will attack him too. I guess people soon forget how they vilified GWB.
The left has no limits no remorse and they absolutely will not care even if it illegal. They want to win and win at all costs. They want power. Given enough voting won’t be done or be like South Africa were it’s not really a vote. The state votes for you.
Difference in reality vs made up dogma. The Bible spoke of the leftists tactics. We need to take note and while I didn’t condone or support the Jan 6 protesters, they had a point that people should listen to. Don’t trust the government blindly.
The Hunter laptop. Phony Russia Collusion. A bogus impeachment over Ukraine corruption. Election interference if the highest order. People were manipulated with intentional lies. 2020 was in fact a rigged election. How else would you define it?
