A refreshing take! I think most of us following Erick will end up voting for Trump, only because he's the lesser of the two evils. Unfortunately we as Republicans have faced this dilemma for years (remember Romney? I had to plug my nose as I voted and had to go home and vomit afterwards). I honestly also don't believe that the party's base has become Trump acolytes forever-- we can blame the Democrats for making Trump the goat, and foaming at the mouth to punish him at whatever cost for any number or real or imaginary sins. That forced the party's base to come to his defense to save one of their own (however unpalatable that is).
