Frank has a good point regarding the "corporatist elite" he identifies. I contend the corporate entities would not have the freedom to influence as they currently do without 1) political permission granted by the parties, 2) the laissez faire attitude of our culture demanding convenience over effort, and 3) the breakdown of the most basic part of our society: the family. Whether believers, agnostics, atheists, or pagan, today's family is inherently weaker than previous generations... and this is where we circle back to corporations providing the conveniences we all know and love!
