My problem has always been the dems failure to acknowledge the problems.
They simply say “there’s no fraud” and to me that just makes it worse. Of course there is fraud and stealing and other issues. The thing to do is not defend or make a false claim that voting is error free. It’s not.

Simply acknowledge it and make changes to fix it.
Problem is Dems don’t care because the errors and issues often favor them. These issues tend to only happen in red districts or unusual counting errors that lead to an over count only happening in blue inner city districts.
These things don’t happen by chance, BUT they also are not high numbers to affect the final outcome.
It isn't just dems who assert that there is no fraud. Eric himself pretty much has done so regularly, as have most establishment republicans. Unless complaints of possible fraud are actually investigated fully in each instance, there is never going to be widespread confidence in the election system. Anyone who declares immediately after a complaint that the election was secure and fairly won is complicit in expanding the belief that they are not.
I’m going to defend Erick and say that’s not really accurate. Erick has repeatedly said “fraud” happens in every election but also asserts as do I it’s often not enough to affect outcomes. And that is all true.
My assertion is that Dems don’t commit fraud. They cheat. Big difference.
Fraud is illegal. Cheating isn’t.
- Dems go door to door collecting mail in ballots and filling them out before sending them in.
- Dem operatives in states go to nursing homes, help the residents fill out their voting ballots.
Ok, if you are looking at fraud and cheating in a different light, I can adjust to that position. I was lumping them together as a whole. I don't personally think there should be a difference. But in either case, I still find that Eric is way to quick to announce that an election is fair and secure, even before it has occurred. But to me, the manifesto that was published in, I believe, the New York Times, (could be wrong about the paper) after the 2020 election in which the "cheating" that was accomplished to ensure that Trump lost is as corrupt and illegal, or should be, as any other kind of fraud. And it was pretty much ignored by establishment republicans. If that kind of cheating is ok, republicans are never going to win another election. Which I actually expect to be the case in this one.
But it’s not theory if it actually happens.

It’s naive to think they don’t.
