Great, Eric. May the Lord be with you! But how can we save the cities? Or the people indoctrinated by post-modernism in the suburbs?

We nay not be in a post-Constitutional period, but when it comes to the majority of the Left, they're in a post-rational period.

Good grief. We have been in a post-Constitutional order since at least 1937. Reasonable people might disagree as to whether the final shred was torn off in 2008, or 2001, or 1964, or 1937, or 1913, or 1868, or 1860, or even 1803. The scope of the federal government's role is completely untethered from the limits and ennumerations in the document that authorized its existence.

Everything else Erick wrote is spot on. Rs must stop being the part of big business and be the party of the level playing field.

I like this approach. I do think placing restrictions on state and local use of Federal Funds is not the right approach to maintain our nation's strength. We should stop sending our Federal tax money to state and local governments. Those funds provide too much leverage against good governance at the state and local level. Management of those funds is costly at both ends of the pipeline. It is government waste. The States should collect taxes for their programs. The Federal taxes should be reduced by the entire budget to manage and fund the Federal subsidies for state and local government.

I grew up during a time when Title IX was being created and put into law. As a girl then woman, I benefited greatly. I didn't get scholarships, but we had equipment and a bus to take us to games that we wouldn't have had. What is wrong with the women of today? How do they not see or understand that allowing so called trans women/girls to compete against biological females is sending us right back to the days when girls/women had nothing? And as to DEI training, the federal government is forcing that down the throats of all employees. When will the madness stop?

I want to see the flag that represents the crazy, rich, liberals.

Your Fifth point is key: "be willing to recognize crazy as crazy." This doesn't happen through your "button pushing" metaphor. It can only occur when a people, who understand what is actually true (and this MUST begin morally) have the ability to "recognize crazy is crazy." Marvelous clarity Erick!

Great thinking and timely analysis. Though I enjoy watching Larry Kudlow, I’m concerned with his comments regarding a big Republicans victory this fall because the cavalry is coming. My biggest fear is it’s the 7th Cavalry being led by General George Armstrong Trump. Look what happened in your home state of Georgia.

Thank you.

Erick, thank you for a well thought out and insightful piece. With so many R's in these races, we need some help in discerning the right ones to place in power. Help us please with some data on them.

Great piece, Erick. I leaned towards the managerial side until reading your strategy. I just hope Republican leadership has the wisdom and intestinal fortitude to follow through on it. I remember spineless Speaker John Boehner saying there was nothing Republicans could do about Obamacare when we all knew their House majority could choose not to fund it. But he chose to play ball instead, as did the Senate majority in 2014. It was disgusting.
