WE know this is ultimately a spiritual battle but as people drift further and further away from God, Christians are seen as crazy and the secular world rises. God says to continue to share His Word and the Gospel of Christ no matter what the world says about us so that is what we do. It is hard to see and hear but God is not done with us yet so keep preaching, teaching, and reaching. There was a prayer vigil last night for those who died in Jacksonville. We need to continue in prayer but we also need to use our voices, our feet, our hands and our vote to draw people together and not apart. Morals, ethics, values, and character do matter. Also, let’s focus on the real issue of mental illness whether the media wants us to or not. We have accepted their slanted approach to events for too long. We can demand better but not if all we do is sit in the living room and yell at the tv news.
