Erick, this merely confirms what surveys of Hispanic and African-American voters over the last few years has shown, namely that these groups are culturally and socially far more conservative than the Great American Leftmedia wants you to believe. They are thus more attuned to the Republicans than the Democrats of 10 years ago; this iteration of the Democrats, with all the wokeness and affinity towards cultural Marxism. is even more anathema to them. And the dirty little secret here is that while establishment Republicans largely ignored (and still ignore) all this, Donald Trump understood it perfectly, and in all its dimensions; he also instinctively knew that morphing the GOP into a populist, socially, and culturally conservative movement would hasten this realignment and make the party not only competitive in elections at all levels of government, but a winning force. Why do you think the Democrats are hell bent for leather to get H.R. 1 passed into law? It's because they need every advantage, fair or foul, to stay relevant with the very populations they so loudly profess to support.

While it's true that, as Rush Limbaugh used to say, that "It's hard to beat Santa Claus", fiscal largesse has its very real limits, and average Americans know this in a way the Democrats fail to give them credit for doing. They also know that material gains matter very little if they can't have safe streets to walk down and are compelled to embrace things they believe are distasteful or even immoral. I believe that we can always rely on the Left's overplaying its hand politically; this may be where that overplay expresses itself.

I certainly hope it is a trend!

The Hispanic/Latino pastors I know are seeing similar attitudes. Very encouraging Erick!
