The Obama-Clooney Coup
If you watched this clip we pushed out yesterday, you would have known how absurd the claims are that Barack Obama is secretly running Joe Biden’s White House. After all, the incoherent and contradictory policy initiatives we’ve seen over the past few years are the logical byproduct of an 81-year-old President at war with gravity and the English language.
The reality is the Obama team and the Biden team despise each other. The Biden team believes that Obama should have backed Biden over Hillary in 2016 which would have sidestepped Donald Trump entirely and allowed him to leave office as he’s physically declining at the end of his second term this year. The Obama team has always viewed the Biden team as “second fiddle” and blames his inner circle on the pending wipeout this November. Oddly enough, the two men like each other up to a certain point.
Today, the bitter contempt between both sides was on full display with reports that Obama openly facilitated George Clooney’s coup in The New York Times yesterday. But while everyone is focused on the op-ed itself, the timeline is overlooked. Just three weeks ago, George Clooney and Barack Obama stood on stage with Biden openly fundraising for his reelection knowing full well the degree to which the man was compromised. Obama’s speechwriter Jon Favreau shared a similar story with CNN by describing how alarming Biden’s performance was at the fundraiser.
Meanwhile, conservatives shared unedited footage of Biden at the same fundraiser and the media called the clips “cheap fakes.” Conservatives were castigated while George Clooney was praised for describing the same person at the same event.
But the larger issue for Democrats is this.
If Democrats want to get Biden out of the race, they have to realize that using Obama’s team simply isn’t going to work. It’s only going to make Biden dig his heels in more. Watch:
The Lightbringer deserves credit for success for fundamentally transforming this nation. He subjected the USA to his own disastrous policies; he wove not-so-subtle racism back into the fabric of American society; he and Eric Holder weaponized the intelligence community by buidling on Shrub's Patriot Act powers; he created the preconditions that put Donald Trump in the Oval Office.
This absurd situation we are enduring today, where a demented 81 y/o likely pedophile is competing with a bloviator to lead what once was the nation that served as a beacon of hope and freedom, is entirely on Obama.
Biden is still coherent enough to go tell Obama to commit an anatomical impossibility.
