The Postmodern Olympic Mess
If you watched the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics, you were greeted with a disturbing ensemble of transsexual performers that culminated in a degrading recreation of da Vinci’s The Last Supper. The blowback was so swift that everyone from Franklin Graham to the Ayatollah of Iran voiced offense and displeasure at the senseless gratuitous depiction.
In the face of widespread blowback, the French are choosing to gaslight the world and tell you not to believe your lying eyes. Before the ubiquitous outrage, one of the French performers posted a picture of the final scene from the infamous performance with a direct comparison to The Last Supper. But after the French changed their minds, she quietly deleted the post.
The example is a snapshot of how the left blatantly aims to manipulate you. When Kamala Harris was appointed as Border Czar by President Biden, every major publication covered the appointment. But after Democratic talking points went out three years later to claim the opposite, the same publications twisted their own reporting and changed previous stories to fit the current narrative from the left. This is the postmodern left. Watch:
The opening ceremony was a sad reflection of today's society. The depiction of the Last Supper was not necessary to demonstrate the inclusion of all types of people throughout the world. Also, since Kamala Harris is so busy courting the votes of the young college people, maybe the Trump organization might want to broadcast the video of Harris saying 18-24 year olds are stupid.
Too late, Paris. I saw it and they can't take it back. As a Catholic, I was appalled. I typically love to watch as much of the Olympics and I can but I will not watch a minute of these Paris games.
