The issue with the Democrats is that it doesn't matter who their candidate is, the result is going to be the same. For example, Biden has more or less adopted all of Bernie Sander's extreme progressive positions and the only reason he is on the ticket is the media has a better chance of presenting him as a moderate to appeal to Republicans who don't like Trump and probably wouldn't vote for Sanders. The Democrats tend to vote in lockstep whether they are Senators or Congressmen or Supreme Court Justices. If Harris did not toe the party line, the media would cancer her instantly, because unlike the Trump base, the progressive base cares about the latest slander on the media talking points memo. The 2020 election is a choice between the Democrats progressive agenda and Trump's agenda and Harris only purpose on the ticket is to attack Black voters who don't seem very thrilled with Biden.

There is some serious dysfunction with the Georgia GOP, revealed by (1) nominating QAnon nut Marjorie Green and (2) continuing to be one of the CV19 leaders in dead Americans and new cases since July. Yesterday, GA was a solid 4th in both categories.

For conservatives like me, the Trump-Pence pick is problematic and the Biden-Harris pick is problematic, each for their own special reasons. There are a lot of things that bother me about me about, but this one sticks with me.

"5 years ago Michael Brown was murdered by a white police officer in Ferguson, Missouri. Michael was unarmed yet he was shot 6 times. I stand with activists and organizers who continue the fight for justice for Michael."

--Kamala Harris, Aug 9, 2019

Officer Wilson was cleared of murder at all levels, including by AG Holder. Her smear that Wilson murdered Brown is the actual miscarriage of justice. We're not going to make progress on racism and systemic racism if we can't even agree on established facts.

Let me get this straight. The VP candidate for the Democrats is not principled, so we should vote for...Trump? The man whose only principle is: What’s in it for me? Sheesh.

Happy anniversary! Like I share with my clients, there is no gallery or spontaneous applause for everything you'll do to achieve your goals. As I suspect, you're able to self-generate the energy to persevere with one foot in front of the next. At some point, likely not of your choosing, you'll reach outcrops that will provide vistas to assess the accomplishments of your life's journey. Just don't quit. Ever.
