We are suffering the lingering effects of Trumpism, Republicans who are loud, brash, in short, idiots. Worse, idiots with a microphone called X, twitter, with the volume set to blast while feeding a 24 hour news cycle that loves showing how dumb politicians can be. And the politicians are giving them great video showing how dumb they are…

Worse, idiots with a microphone called X, twitter, with the volume set to blast while feeding a 24 hour news cycle that loves showing how dumb politicians can be. And the politicians are giving them great video showing how dumb they are. The elected bottom feeders which make up the party are driving people to not vote or move to independent. Those politicians may attract the extreme fringe of the party but the rest of the voting public find them repulsive.
Trump trump trump. Blame Trump it’s all his fault.
Trump is a symptom not a cause.
When republicans had everything in 2016 they couldn’t defeat Obamacare like they promised.
They couldn’t pass any meaningful legislation and their key accomplishment was reforming a tax code.
Think about the father watching his daughter get beat by a boy in sports. Or have him get fired from his job for being a Christian and get replaced by a DEI pick.
That person gets frustrated, angry, and trump scratches that itch for them because he says what needs to be said.
Problem is most people don’t want to hear it. Even when they think it.
I have a relative who is as liberal as they come.
She complained to me for hours on the phone about how she found porn books in her child’s elementary school, her child’s teacher has blue hair and a nose ring with multiple tattoos, and her friends car just got broken into and the cost of gas is triple what it was 3 years ago.
Yet she doesn’t blame it on Biden she blames Trump.
And that there is your problem.
People can’t or won’t see the real evil. And yes dems are evil.
Trump was the result of the Republicans that promised everything and continually offered up excuses of why they continually kicked the can on every promise. But Trump is all about Trump, hiring and keeping those around him that give him a little adoration. He found some good people to serve under him but he went through a lot of stinkers, Jeff Sessions. He inserted himself into Democrats internal bickering. He was and still is the hammer in search of a nail. The worst he has done is to promote bad candidates for 2022 because they promoted his stolen election bs. How did that work out? The expected red wave was a small splash in a bath tub. With him we lose more then we gain.
i agree on trump being part of the problem. But its not JUST him. Plenty of other NON-Endorsed candidates lost. Actually more of those lost than won. But I digress. As soon as trump endorses someone, the media moves in and goes into attack mode and immediately that person is labelled a racist, bigot, nationalist or whatever. Some of those candidates wanted it others had nothing to do with Trump. Like what happened in Virginia in 23. Many of those candidates had nothing to do with Trump, were never endorsed by him, some were even critical of Trump. But the media went out of its way to portray them as such and the ignorant bought it.
i compare it to one of my super liberal acquaintances who in October, planted Trump 2024 signs on the lawns of people she didn't like. Those people were not Trump supporters but the community of course didn't care. One of them even got fired at their job because of it.
Again, main point. Trump is not the problem, no matter what flack he slings that sets off some of those fires, its not all on him. We have a huge media problem.
