When the Northern and Southern Kingdoms split after Rehoboam chose to listen to the young and foolish instead of the old and wise in 931 BC, Jeroboam, the Northern King, feared the people would make pilgrimages to the temple in Jerusalem.
Truth matters we live in a world that truly needs it. I don’t agree with demonizing others just Because they are not pro life. Feels like Christians excuse a lot of behavior but then demonize people who don’t agree on abortion. It’s not a way to win hearts to the Lord. Who will even listen us on that issue?
In 2000, we all waited through recounts and for Gore and Bush to have their days in court. Now, there seems to be a push by the legacy media to declare a President Elect. Why the hurry?
Well said, Erick! The truth may be hard to accept, but truth matters. As you’ve consistently said, the Democrats acted no better but that is also not reason enough to reciprocate in creating a house of cards built on rumors and outright lies. President-Elect Biden wasn’t my choice but I will extend him the same benefit as any other duly elected official. To waste time, treasure, and goodwill to prop up Trump’s ego is appalling. The immediate risk to conservatives and Georgia Republicans is allowing this charade to distract us from electing two Republican Senators in January. Division in the party may indeed hurt us more than the Biden presidency.
Not a Christian, but a junkie for political essays and thoughts that challenge me, and see the other side. You hit it right on. This Trumpism has got to a point, about life, about what is and isn't, that it's almost Jonestown like. Read an article in WP, reporting that nurses in South Dakota are treating patients in ICU, with Covid, on breathing ,apparatus who do not want to hear a diagnosis of Covid, for they do not believe it's real. What is that. The distrust of any institution, or any norm, or any expertise that do not conform to "their" worldview, is , ...... (lost for words). You a Conservative with a capital "C". Your unabashedly Christian to your core. Yet.... your able to see what is in front of you and recognize the truth, no matter how much is goes against your philosophy and worldview. That chart is a real eye opener for drop in subscribers.... Thank you for your honesty and stating things so well.
Eric, I am a Christian who believes God's will will be done. I struggle with that when I see what I perceive as injustice or unfairness...it's that uncomfortable place where I sit 'in between' waiting for God's plan to be revealed. I follow you because of your Christian outlook on things and, yes, sometimes I don't like what you say politically. But I continue to follow you because you make me think. That being said, I have a problem with your criticisms of Christians who don't agree with you politically. I believe God has each and every one of us in His hands...we are all in different places in our spiritual journey with Him. That is between us and God and I don't believe it is appropriate for you to judge where we are in that journey. God gives us immeasurable grace, His benevolence to the undeserving....isn't it our responsibility to extend that grace to others while they struggle through personal matters with God? I think we all need to be very careful in equating how strong a Christian is with his or her personal feelings about what goes on in the world. That is between us and God. Keep doing what you are doing...there is no one like you on talk radio.
I have subscribed today because I need to step up support for someone who tells the truth. I have long followed you because I know you can be counted on when the news and people can’t be counted on. It’s time I support monetarily. I am a Christian and I have watched the fighting and craziness exhibited over support of a man. God is still in charge and thank you for saying it.
I trust your analysis Erick and that's why I subscribe. I have NO trust for the legacy media. Conservatives have been lied to for so long it's difficult to know what's real anymore.
Erick: Your claim that the "President’s lawyers retracted all of Rudy Giuliani’s outlandish claims about the 686,000 voters is entirely false. The complaint you cited in the PA claim still makes the same claim about the large number of ballots processed without GOP observation in two different number paragraphs:
4. Allegheny and Philadelphia Counties alone received and processed 682,479 mail-in and absentee ballots without review by the political parties and candidates. These are unprecedented numbers in Pennsylvania’s elections history. Rather than engaging in an open and transparent process to give credibility to Pennsylvania’s brand-new voting system, the processes were hidden during the receipt, review, opening, and tabulation of those 682,479 votes in direct contravention of the Election Code.
142. It is estimated that 680,770 ballots were processed by the Allegheny and Philadelphia County Boards of Elections when no observation was allowed.
The essence of the claim is that PA election officials violated PA law in not allowing GOP observers to be present in the counting:
132: In every instance where an absentee or mail-in ballot is opened and canvassed by a county election board, poll watchers and canvass representatives are legally permitted to be present. See Election Code Section 1308(b), 25 P.S. § 3146.8(b) (“Watchers shall be permitted to be present when the envelopes containing official absentee ballots and mail-in ballots are opened and when such ballots are counted and recorded.”); see also 25 P.S. § 3146.8(g)(1.1) and (g)(2).
Paragraphs 133-145 of the claim go on to cite evidence of counting happening that denied legal observation supported by PA law. It then goes on to argue in paragraph 146-150 that this violated the equal protection rights of the Constitution:
146. The Equal Protection Clause mandates that the Commonwealth provide and use in every County the same statewide uniform standards and regulations when conducting statewide or multi-county elections involving federal candidates, including without limitation the standards and regulations providing for the casting and counting of votes. Pierce, 324 F. Supp. 2d at 698-99. In other words, the Equal Protection Clause requires every county in the Commonwealth to enforce and apply the same standards and procedures for an election, and it does not allow a select few counties to either decline to enforce or employ those standards or develop their own contradicting standards that benefit their voters to the detriment of voters outside their counties.
147. For statewide elections involving federal candidates, Defendants’ allowance, by act or omission, of the collection and counting of inperson, provisional, and absentee and mail-in ballots in a manner and at locations that are contrary to the Election Code’s mandatory provisions (as set forth above) constitutes legislative action by the Executive Branch in violation of the Elections and Electors Clauses of the United States Constitution.
148. Finally, the Defendants’ lack of statewide standards and use of a patchwork of ad-hoc rules that vary from county to county in a statewide election Case 4:20-cv-02078-MWB Document 125-1 Filed 11/15/20 Page 61 of 87 - 62 - involving federal and state-wide candidates violates the Equal Protection clauseClause of the Fourteenth Amendment. Pierce, 324 F. Supp. 2d at 698-99.
149. Because the standards in the conduct of statewide elections involving federal and state candidates, including without limitation the casting and counting of votes, are to be uniform, Plaintiffs have a vested interest in ensuring that the electoral process is properly administered in every election district. However, the administration of the November 3, 2020 General Election across the counties of the Commonwealth, in particular in the named County Election Boards, was far from uniform and did not follow the legal strictures of the Election Code and the United States Constitution.

150. Plaintiffs incorporate each of the prior allegations in this Complaint.
As this website explains ( https://www.donaldjtrump.com/media/setting-the-record-straight-on-trump-campaigns-pennsylvania-litigation/ ) the reason claimed for the deletions are: " In fact, because of a Friday ruling by the Third Circuit Court of Appeals in an unrelated case, the campaign strategically decided to restructure its lawsuit to rely on claims of violations of the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. The claim that 682,479 ballots were improperly processed and counted is still very much part of the suit."
Perhaps the reason people have dropped their subscriptions to your emails that you arrogantly mock Christians who don't share your political views, which places you in the role of an "accuser of the brethren" - Revelation 12:10. I note that your predictions about the huge Biden leads of the RCP poll averages being accurate and a Trump recession beginning the day he put tariffs on China were less than stunningly accurate. I can also remember you mocking the Trafalgar and Rasmussen polls in another case of your prejudices being put on public display. Perhaps you are correct that Trump's legal team will not win his court cases. But you are being as dishonest as the WP in stating that the claims for "counting without representation" have been withdrawn from Trump's legal case in PA. In your own words, you can "turn your nose up at me" even though I am "telling you the truth."
As a resident of PA, I am sick and tired of elections filled with Democratic fraud. It may not be an issue to you, but it is to a great multitude of people like me, who feel like they have been beaten by robbers and left on the side of the road, while the "really righteous" people ignore their existence (Luke 10:25-37). It is only the Good Samaritan from the ungodly land of Samaria (Northern Israel) who seems to care about the beaten man's plight. It was the Samaritan that Jesus highlighted as the "good neighbor" of Leviticus 19:18 and Luke 10:27. You may take pride in your being a good neighbor to your friends in GA, but it is Trump who is acting like a good neighbor to the 73+ million people who voted for him, just as the Good Samaritan was a good neighbor to the man lying injured on the side of the road, despite coming from a sinful land, just as Trump has done.
Very good analysis. I am actually studying the book of II Chronicles in my morning devotional. My wife has been a subscriber to your news letter for several months. I have not and have been reading your posts on a "non-subscriber" basis. Decided to subscribe as a result of reading this post. God Bless and keep it real, honest, and God-centered.
I am in stunned disbelief. I do not understand the inability to accept the results of this election. I'm not a believer, but I'm almost coming to believe a nefarious metaphysical force exists as I can't come up with any other explanation for this. And if there is a nefarious force perhaps there is also a force for good? But, if so, we would then have to discuss theodicy, so never mind.
Yesterday and today I've engaged friends on facebook who posted that Sydney Powell interview with Lou Dobbs. I countered with a fact-check from Thedispatch.com. This fact-check discusses the false allegation that Avid Technology is the manufacturer of the diabolical software in the Dominion Voting System. These two know better. All three of us know this company. We KNOW the CEO. We KNOW what kind of software this company produces and this ain't it.
That people who insist they are patriots can engage in such irresponsible behavior that is antithetical to the good health of this republic just scares me to death.
