Blast it Erick! My reading list already looks like the 30" pizza from Big Pie in the Sky, but I could resist no longer and subscribed.

I treat these poor underprivileged children in Georgia. The children like this always suffer. The elites and white liberals sacrifice our children, for what? What’s in it for them?

It's funny, what I hear most about reopening schools is not whether kids will take the virus home or what education they're missing, but that schools' primary value is babysitting. Granted, nobody puts it that way, they just talk about how parents need to go back to work. Education does make the list, but way further down than I would have thought.

Which isn't to minimize the child care issue. Some older-child care services have popped up here (and shut down b/c of the surging pandemic) but parents worry about their teens too. And yet...is that schools' primary mission, then? Maybe we should just be honest about it.

I just wonder how long school choice will last under the new administration. The teacher's union has spoken, just like the great and powerful Oz.

What's happening in Georgia is a travesty of justice. Bad judicial calls, servers wiped clean or breaking down. None of this inspires voter confidence and quite frankly feeds the possibility of voter fraud. I do hope someone prevails in their lawsuits and the legislative hearings gain credibility. And what will the FBI find? I do think Erick you are too dismissive of potential widespread fraud. Even if incompetency, should we allow that to decide our election?

I've finally subscribed - thanks for your level-headed response to this crazy year. And also for the gravy; it was perfect!

It is hard to imagine that a Poltical-Gnosticism exists in GA that would promote the secret-scientific-knowledge that schools need to remain closed because of Covid. It would be a QAnon-type of conspiracy to suggest that powerful political forces in local governments and teachers unions would be able to pull that off. It is hard to believe the GA State Government under Kemp would not intervene to stop innocent children from unfairly suffering. It is not like a 2020 election issue where everybody can state with absolute certainlty that illegal ballots were not counted in GA. After all, we know for sure that schools need to remain closed because the Democratic propaganda machine has told us so.
