Trump signed more than 200 executive orders in the first 24 hours after being sworn into office—none was more significant than declaring a national emergency at the southern border.
I've got news for you.... Mexico has ALWAYS been a failed state. That country has ALWAYS been a mess, and the government has NEVER had control over that country outside of the more populated/tourist areas.
In 1848, at the end of the Mexican-American War when the US Army was in Mexico City dictating terms, the USA annexed all of Mexico, down to the border of Guatemala. We immediately gave it all back, except everything north of the Rio Grande.
Perhaps we should have just kept it all..... Today, Mexico would be a lot more stable, safe, and there would be decent infrastructure.

Thank you again. I can’t imagine living on the border.
Today's politicians don't like Trump because he does put America first.
One good thing about the current freezing weather---illegal immigrants will not be swimming the Rio Grande for a few days.
We know the media will not tell the truth on this issue so that is why nobody listens to them
How many of our politicians are taking drug money?
It would likely be easier to count those that weren't.
