You have a loose screw between the ears when you’re a female lawyer and you promote the rape of women.

This is a must read from Mark Judge, one of Kavanaugh's high school friends. Interesting the way his story was ignored/manipulated. It's an MSN link but was published by the Washington Examiner.

This discussion is SO CLEAR CUT I find it difficult to believe how we still have so many people supporting the left's social and policy goals. We are a nation in decline because of the lack of faith in a sovereign God. Are we too late for a revival to save the country? The revival at Asbury was thwarted in the name of "safety" and I don't believe it maintained it's original fervor. I'm looking forward to the Good Friday show. We should all share the link to the show to any non-believing family and friends we may have.

My dear departed Mother told me a long time ago believe nothing of what you read and half of what you see. I have found that in todays MSM that works quite well especially since we have other news outlets besides the big networks and fish wrappers that used to be newspapers. The people that buy into the fear mongering on the left are the ones that would trade freedom for security and wind up with neither. Thanks Ben Franklin for that tidbit.

Erick correctly outlines a long list of examples of media double standards on political violence. Yet, the media can ignore all of that and focus on Jan 6th. We shouldn't let Trump off the hook for trying to steal an election and causing a riot at the Capitol but the threat from the Left is the same sort of authoritarianism just institutionalized. The irony of stacking the deck and pushing the levers of power against Republicans is that it empowers the sort of populist like Trump the Left is afraid will take over the country. This dynamic drives our current political dysnlfunction and it feels like there is no way to escape it for the foreseeable future.

It’s interesting you bought into the media’s “Trump trying to steal an election” garbage. He didn’t do anything different than what the democrats did with Reagan, Bush, and Trump in 2016. The media just blew it out of proportion. And, the real story about Jan 6 and who was actually in the crowd instigating the violence and the cooperation of the police in the whole matter has not come out because the media and the democrats won’t let that investigation happen. The whole Han 6 committee was a farce.

"He didn’t do anything different than what the democrats did with Reagan, Bush, and Trump in 2016."

Funny because I don't remember the Democrats filing a number of failed lawsuits against the outcome of the 2016 election or sending Antifa to sack the Capitol building in order to stop the certification of the results. Of course that doesn't exonerate Hilary Clinton's Russiagate hoax or what the Obama holdovers did to kneecap Trump but what Trump did in 2020 was clearly different. When Democrats in the Senate tried to challenge the results in 2016 the outgoing Vice-President shut them down and laughed at them for being stupid. As bad as the Democrats are, I wish there were Republicans with spine enough to tell the crazies on our side in similar fashion.

"the real story about Jan 6 and who was actually in the crowd instigating the violence and the cooperation of the police in the whole matter"

It's also funny to me that I was hearing the same arguments from Left in regards to Antifa supporters rioting ahead of the 2020 election. They claimed that their shadowy Right-Wingers or FBI informants instigating violence to distract people from the peaceful protests. The problem with the argument is even if you could prove it, that didn't excuse people to go along with it. On Jan 6th, there could have been FBI informants their luring the protestors into the Capitol. That's all the more reason why the people there should have not gotten suckered into the Capitol for reasons that were clearly bullshit. In fact, Trump should not have gotten his base so riled up in challenge an election result he clearly lost. Sadly, they did and they didn't accomplish a damn thing aside from stupidly give the Democrats two extra Senate seats and a propaganda victory they can hang around every conservatives head for the rest of our lives.

Psychological projection and gaslighting are all the Left has.

We are living in progressive liberal utopia, dystopia for the rest us is not mentally ill. But they are lazy, apathetic, self centered and have no since of responsibility or accountability for their actions and politics. They instead fell responsible and accountable for making the Right realize the error of their ways, and because of their secular religion eschatology we must convert or die; their violence is our fault, so of course the Right is violent.

The U.S.S.R.'s definition of peace was the lack of resistance.

Go Erick! Again, the left does everything they accuse the right of doing. We need to find a way to economically destroy the companies that are propping up the lies and disinformation. We need to request the resignations of the CEOs and board chairs that oversee these outlets. We need to expose them and pressure them the same way we pressured Gay at Harvard. Perhaps we can get Chris Ruffo on the case. He’s highly effective.

You have to get enough people to buy stock in those companies and then vote them out at the annual meeting. Hard to get enough momentum to accomplish it.

Erick you coined it: the enslaved press.

Still, the DNC propaganda machine masquerading as "journalism".

Thank you, Erick., for wise words that reflect clear thinking and a knowledge of history.

We should expect two waves of mob violence this year: The first at the Democrat Convention (Chicago 1968 redux) led by the pro-Hamas thugs, and the second nationwide after Trump is reelected. Antifa, BLM, The Squawd's claque, plus any migrants that can be recruited to riot in exchange for work permits - all will likely be in the streets.

Excellent. Another great editorial that should be on the front page of EVERY newspaper in the country and on every billboard on every highway. Only one more addition is the violence against Riley Gaines.

The leftist media makes me want to vomit.

I listened to Riley Gaines on Rogan recently. She was probably one of the best guests he's ever had. I was impressed that a young woman of 23 was so courageous and well spoken about her faith and what trans ideology is doing to women. Gaines has a bright future ahead of her.

I'm rewatching The Newsroom, which is a brilliantly written show. The difference is that when I watched it 10 something years ago, I remember thinking, "Do they all really think with a hive mind?" Watching it again, now I completely believe that the media does.

Sorry but when anyone references MSNBC it's the same as referencing the Comedy Network. MSNBC like Fox and CNN are full of the hyper partisans. Hyper left, hyper right, both sides have them and they lower the standards of political discussion in an effort to get their viewers angry so they keep watching. When news sites became for profit businesses all semblance of balance faded away. The only ones who believes these pointless, banal talking heads are the political sheep. Are they sites disgusting? Yes. Are they believable? No. Are they a waste of precious time? You bet. At the end of the day we are allotted so much time on this earth. I would rather use my time productively then waste it on something as useless as "political commentary" from someone I find to be beneath my dignity to actually give time to listen to.

Sorry Garry. I need to call BS on that. Try watching ABC, NBC, CBS or CNN (n worse, publicly funded PBS), and all you get is what the left wants you to hear. The only recourse, whether you like hyperbola or not, are places like Fox News.

The "only recourse" is to realize that you're paying for garbage. Ditch the Dish, toss the TV, and get your news from Substack and video platforms like Rumble and Bitchute. You'll discover the truth nestled in among extremists; you'll actually see real research and old-skool news-gathering; you'll be exposed to multiple opinions and perspectives. Try finding any of that in legacy media.

Your right about the ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN. I didn't feel like listing all of them. I should have made the point about MSM in general. As for Fox, there are times it seems balanced but, in my opinion, there are some on Fox which are outright unwatchable because they are so hyper partisan or just not that good. When you can remember the guys that were left but still good, Walter Cronkite prime example, what we have today seem like kindergarten.

Erick, you better be careful because the progressives need no facts to smear and character-assassinate people who point out their biases and demagoguing. Thank you for being clear about this state of the MSM. Fortunately, only the crazies watch MSNBC and increasingly CNN. I tuned them all out several years ago and am better off and better informed. Thanks for keeping your eye on the ball and calling the balls and strikes...and it's only the beginning of the election season...

The reason they continue down this path is because it works. Now I see some say that the people are waking up to it, that the number of viewers on CNN, MSMBC, etc is down. But do you all watch any local TV news channels? Because they repeat the nonsense from CNN and the other MSM so a lot of people believe it. So while the whole "bloodbath" thing has, in theory, been laughed into being ineffective, the fact is that there are still way too many people who are going to insist that there is only one meaning to the word, that Trump is going on a slaughter if he isn't elected, and no one has ever in history used the word in any other way.

"They view Donald Trump as a threat to democracy..."

Not "democracy", but "my bubble". The new definition of "democracy" is essentially "I own the message, let me tell you how it is...". Sadly, Mr. Trump's flair for hyperbole lends itself quite effectively to the FUD (fear, uncertainty, doubt) generated by those on bully pulpits.
