The headline mentions "Charlottesville." I have re-read the article three times, and cannot find any mention of Charlottesville. Am I over-looking it? (I thought Erick was going to draw a comparison.)

I laughed when Erick complained at the end of hour one about the mockingbird in his yard that mimics an annoying car alarm all night. Friends don’t believe me, but I have the same problem. A mockingbird perches on the balcony railing just outside my bedroom window and does the car alarm thing! Luckily, this one doesn’t do it overnight and starts at dawn. I don’t need an alarm clock during springtime any more.

The Newsom ad will be effective because of saps who very much desire it to be an accurate depiction. But, it's WAY too early for stunts like that to work in the '28 Dem nomination race, so it will backfire. The Republican running against Newsom should run ads of federal police breaking down doors to arrest gun owners, people accused of pronoun misuse, owning a gas powered implement of any kind, eating anything tastier than a broiled Madagascar cockroach, etc, etc.

That Newsom thinks the ad will help him - shows how hopelessly unqualified he is to run for office (outside California)

Two items.

1. Article in the FT on the corruption of Zelensky and his governments. Those of you that supported the $61 billion fraud should be ashamed. Read on:

2. Matthew Colangelo from the Biden DOJ delivers the opening argument in the bogus Trump case in NY? Really? Jim Jordan should be opening up a conspiracy case against Garland and the DOJ right now. WTF? Support this and you’re as corrupt as any creature that has ever lived.

Seeing the activist/anarchist on Columbia's campus blocking access to Jewish students and yelling threats of violence I recall the pro life protestor's that were arrested by federal agents dressed in tactical gear, brandishing long barreled weapons, arrested for the the act of blocking the sidewalk to the door of an abortion clinic. The pro lifers did not make death threats. They did not make threats of violence. The left cheered their arrest. And now, from the left and the leftist media you hear crickets concerning the protestors on Columbia's campus. The double standard is quite amazing to see. I doubt the leftist media/reporters are self aware enough to realize the optics of their lack of coverage.

Sorry Erick, but your buddy Chip Roy’s solidarity with this group of Putin supporting isolationists (Andy Biggs (Ariz.), Lauren Boebert (Colo.), Andrew Clyde (Ga.), Elijah Crane (Ariz.), Matt Gaetz (Fla.), Bob Good (Va.), Paul Gosar (Ariz.), Marjorie Taylor Greene (Ga.), Andy Harris (Md.), Thomas Massie (Ky.), Troy Nehls (Texas), Ralph Norman (S.C.), and Matt Rosendale (Mont.)) is not indicative of being a “patriot.”

Too bad a wolf in Lamb's clothing cannot distinguish the nuances of the Christian message of Scripture with his individual interpretation of Scripture. Ahhh, the joys of being a public figure who knows his mind and enunciates it clearly....lol!

Is it just me or did I see pallets of cinder blocks (or some kind of concrete building material) in the first Twitter video of the antisemitic protesters? Go to 0:05 https://twitter.com/JoeyMannarinoUS/status/1782300965028126724

Also, can Columbia trespass any non-students from being on campus causing a disturbance?

Some of these university presidents such as Gay at Harvard are radicals themselves ( and often not very bright as well - credential is. Has been mistaken for intelligence and ability. Others are just weak individuals who let the DEI and ESG winds carry them along as the rubric says “ go along to get along” . Now they are finding out the hard way that their appeasement and lack of backbone have just increased the extremism and self confidence of the radicals. The craven appeasement has now left the inmates in charge of the asylum. A first step would be to inform all the students that their participation in these’d protests will be made a permanent part of their transcripts.

There is a famous narrative called, "First They Came" by Pastor Martin Niemoller

It ends with:

"Then they came for the Jews

And I did not speak out

Because I was not a Jew

Then they came for me

And there was no one left

To speak out for me"

We need to speak out for Israel and Jewish folks. This is a battle of Good v. Evil. To borrow a line from John F. Kenndy, "If not us, who? If not now, when?

These 'protests' are just the beginning. After the Jews, they'll come for Christians, then Hindus, then Sikhs. Eventually they'll get to the LGBTQ+ crowd and they won't stop till either everyone surrenders or is dead.

Does anyone besides remember that many, many upper-class British were Nazi sympathizers? You highlighted the 'elite' schools in your opening monologue today. I harken back to an article you brought to my attention last fall by P.J. O'Rourke 7 regarding the elites (Black Panthers, etc.) in the '60's. We should NOT be surprised.

It remains beyond credulity that such prestigious universities allow this happen. Does one really think students bring camping equipment with them to campus?

That Columbia has 5,000 Jewish students who now are unsafe not to mention other students who likely feel the same suggests the Columbia University Administration has dramatically failed in a primary responsibility. Students ought to get a refund.
