Unbelievable Headline
The leftwing Axios is reporting that core members of Biden’s team have questioned whether Biden should have “run for president at all” in light of recent courtroom revelations about his family.
Details: Family details from Hunter Biden’s gun trial have revealed that he and his sister Ashley were both in the grips of a drug addiction when Joe Biden announced his presidential bid in 2019. Joe Biden’s own sister openly questioned whether Biden should have run in 2020 in her memoir over concern for his family. Additionally, unnamed presidential aides claim Biden can be unpredictable at times displaying an "impenetrable sadness" over the loss of his son Beau Biden.
As Axios notes, if Biden had not run for President":
Ashley's rehab diary likely wouldn't have been stolen and published online.
Hunter and the family's emails, texts, and pictures probably wouldn't have been spread across the internet and the tabloids.
A special counsel almost certainly wouldn't be prosecuting Hunter, threatening him with decades in jail.
And members of the notoriously private family wouldn't have been called to testify about the traumatic events of recent years before jurors and dozens of reporters.
Stepping Aside?!
Major public gaffes by the 81-year-old President have raised questions over whether he will actually run for reelection in November. Now, the Dailymail, claims that if Biden’s polling continues to fall or if he stumbles in next week’s debate, it will take Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer together to convince Biden to step aside.
Polling guru Nate Silver said last week, “Dropping out would be a big risk. But there's some threshold below which continuing to run is a bigger risk. Are we there yet? I don't know. But it's more than fair to ask.”
Here are the two latest unforced errors:
Going Nuclear
As the United States displays weakness across the world stage, a growing number of nuclear threats are emerging across the world.
Iran: The Iranian government has been advancing its nuclear program by spinning up new centrifuges which would allow it to further enrich uranium for nuclear weapons.
China: Bejing’s nuclear stockpile grew from 410 warheads last year, to at least 500 in January of this year. Their collection is estimated to match the number of intercontinental ballistic missiles the United States possesses.
Russia: The Russian government’s takeover of Ukraine’s Zaporizhia nuclear power station has raised international alarm over their mismanagement of the plant. Intermittent power outages due to rocket fire have threatened the stability of the nuclear reactors heightening the concern of a “meltdown like Fukushima.”
CNN on black voters moving To Trump: “I’m like speechless”
Joe Biden has lost more than 20% of black voters in the must-win states of Michigan and Pennsylvania according to new polling from USA Today. The sharp turn from 2020 left CNN’s data guy speechless:
Gavins Turns on Californians
Gavin Newsom and his operatives are planning to kill a widely popular ballot initiative that would repeal parts of Prop. 47.
Details: Prop 47 was the piece of legislation passed in 2014 that makes drug possession and theft of goods under $950 a misdemeanor. The law has emboldened mass amounts of organized crime and has caused mass drug usage in major cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles. District Attorneys claim that Prop 47 limits their ability to get dangerous felons off of the street and prevents them from forcing drug addicts to seek the help they need.

Market snapshot:
Erick,
2 years ago, I went on a cross country trip, in the car, with my 30+ daughter. She grew up as an elite gymnast. She competed across the country.
While we drove, we listened to the Larry Nasser congressional hearings. We both had tears in our eyes. These hearings covered the FBI’s coverup of the hundreds of rapes that they became aware of but ignored for years. Some of this happened on Ray's watch. Even today I believe that Ray fired ZERO agents who were directly involved.
At the risk of crossing a line, and with apologies to your forum, Ray and the entire FBI are scumbags. This agency needs to go away. I would never let them in the house, much less sit down for an interview. PERIOD.
I am a massive supporter of all police everywhere, but not this Dem captured political police force. I get the need for a national crime lab, but that’s it. This work is better handled at the state level where a Governor can periodically flush any waste away.
Phewwww…I feel better.
Cheers
We have a leader who has mentally checked out while a nuclear arms race is in effect with our enemies. All the while Russia holds captive a nuclear power plant in a war zone. God I miss the simplers days of the Cold War when we had strong leadership with Reagan in the White House.
