Trump’s Final VP List
Donald Trump’s team has expanded the vetting process for Vice Presidential candidates requesting numerous pieces of information from various candidates.
Details: The Trump team sent request forms to North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance, and South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott according to one unnamed official reporting to The Associated Press. These candidates join Rep. Byron Donald, Rep. Elise Stefanik, and Ben Carson who were sent previous request forms earlier this month.
Caveat: With so much information flying around, Trump campaign spokesperson Brian Hughes told reporters: “Anyone claiming to know who or when President Trump will choose his VP is lying, unless the person is named Donald J. Trump,”
Related: A Georgia Court of Appeals has postponed Trump’s Georgia case until it can be determined whether embattled Fulton County DA Fanni Willis will be allowed to remain on the case. Fanni Willis had an improper relationship with lead prosecutor Nathan Wade that included multiple lavish trips funded by taxpayer dollars. The Court has scheduled a hearing to evaluate Willis’ conduct on October 4th meaning Trump’s Georgia case has definitely been postponed until after the election.
