Georgia
Fulton County DA Fani Willis does not plan to offer a plea deal to Donald Trump, Mark Meadows, or Rudy Giuliani in the sprawling racketeering case against the former President. The news comes after Jenna Ellis, Sidney Powell, and Kenneth Chesebro reached plea deals with the prosecutors and gave damning statements against President Trump's role in the felony case.
Meanwhile: Despite the news, Fani Willis’ other high-profile RICO case against an Atlanta rapper and a production label went to trial yesterday and is expected to occupy her time for more than a year. Willis indicted Young Thug and YSL on racketeering charges that included operating a criminal street gang along with multiple drug and firearm charges.
Bottom line: Nothing is happening to Donald Trump in Georgia anytime soon.
Democrats Abandon Israel
Progressive lawmakers are pressuring Biden to add conditions to Israeli defense funding that would force Israel to implement a permanent ceasefire in order to receive US funds. While unlikely to pass, the demand is the latest signal that Democrats are far from resolving their internal disagreement over the party’s position on Israel.
Context: While Biden’s polling was low before the October 7th attacks, it has dipped even further as progressive Democrats have turned their backs on Biden. Nate Silver explains it this way:
Is Biden losing votes because of his position on Gaza? Yeah, probably. However, he'd probably lose more votes if he took any other position on Gaza. Issues that divide your coalition in half are really nasty.

Dead Wrong Deadspin
Deadspin published this attack piece on a 9-year-old boy at a Chief’s game claiming the kid was a racist for wearing blackface. The publication only showed the right side of his face and conveniently omitted the left side which was painted red for the Chiefs. Go read the take at Outkick.
Musk’s Cybertruck Is Already a Production Nightmare for Tesla
The Cybertruck hasn’t even hit the market yet, and Elon Musk already is lamenting that Tesla Inc. has dug its own grave.
Its stainless steel body may be able to withstand bullets and arrows, but it’s going to be a bear putting the panels together. It will be Tesla’s first high-voltage vehicle, offering the benefit of faster charging, but also potential pitfalls. And it will be Tesla’s only product dependent on in-house battery cells that are years behind schedule.
In these respects and others, the Cybertruck will be a big step backward from how Tesla has progressed in its approach to carmaking. The last vehicle Musk spoke about the way he’s described the Cybertruck was the Model X, the sport utility vehicle that’s never reached high volumes because of what its chief executive officer described on several occasions as hubris.

Koch Network Endorses Nikki Haley in Bid to Push G.O.P. Past Trump
The political network founded by the billionaire industrialist brothers Charles and David Koch has endorsed Nikki Haley in the Republican presidential nominating contest, giving her organizational muscle and financial heft as she battles Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida to be the top rival to former President Donald J. Trump.
The group announced its plans in a memo on Tuesday.
The commitment by the network, Americans for Prosperity Action, bolsters Ms. Haley as the campaign enters the final seven weeks before the Iowa caucuses. Since the first Republican primary debate, Ms. Haley has steadily climbed in polls, even as Mr. DeSantis has slipped. Mr. Trump remains the dominant front-runner in the race.

Please stop Thanks:)
Democrats are "with" which ever side they think can garner the most votes, right or wrong is not important to them. I would sincerely like to see someone personally deal with those vicious humans who attacked a little kid for dressing up and painting his face to support his team. I will volunteer. So all the establishment is going all in on Haley. Makes me sure my choice of DeSantis was correct. With Haley, we get more of the same crap of making promises and then the excuses as to why we couldn't keep our promises. Not interested.
