Democrats Head To Chicago
Mike Barnicle is a regular MSNBC contributor and personal friend of Joe Biden. According to Axios, Barnicle ran into a high-level former Obama staffer at Fenway Park. The Obama alum said, "Isn't it great that f--king guy (Biden) finally figured out he had to quit?" Barnicle blew up.
"What guy?! You know something? F--k you!" Barnicle replied. "And f--k all your friends with their anonymous quotes in the papers. Put your name on it next time!”
When the story was retold to President Biden, one unnamed aide said, "He might still be laughing."
While the story reiterates the bad blood between the Biden and Obama teams, Biden is heading to Chicago for the final convention of his political career with hard feelings toward party leaders for forcing him out. Biden will undoubtedly receive a hero’s welcome at tonight’s speech before the party jettisons him off to enjoy the final five months and one day of presidency in solitude. Go watch Scott Jennings on CNN:
Price Fixing
It’s challenging to overstate the widespread condemnation that Kamala Harris’s price-fixing plan has earned from all sides of the political spectrum. Former SEC Chairman Jay Clayton had this simple explanation.
New York Times columnist David Brooks, “Price controls attempt to fix a problem that does not exist.”
Kamala Talks Football
“You will be undefeated even if you don’t win every game.”
Ross Douthat at The New York Times:
And this is the third reason to doubt the caricature of cool liberal fathers and toxic right-wing dads: If you look at the data on the teenage mental-health crisis of the past decade, the indicators are conspicuously worse for liberal kids, who are seemingly more anxious and depressed than their conservative peers.
Indeed, if I were interested in spinning up a counter-caricature, I would suggest that a “cool progressive dad” model of parenting may create special problems for teenagers, because it’s rooted in a misguided belief that kids are supposed to be more enlightened than their parents, that a good dad just listens and learns from his wise progressive teenager. In fact, most children need more discipline, adult guidance and psychological-religious grounding before they’re ready to teach their parents anything — so being a cool progressive parent is often a good way to set your kids adrift.

Segregation is the new "civil right". ?
The Pew party polls perfectly illustrate that the failure of the GOP party to see itself as the underdog that needs to reform into a party that appeals to young voters, minority voters and female voters. The GOP party is still controlled with old white guys like Mitch McConnel that truly believe in their moral superiority... that God sees them as the chosen people to lead. And the radical collectivists are immoral players and that God's will is such that they will ultimately fail as the people see the truth.
We have less than 80 days for the entire GOP party to get behind Trump and on consistent message... that includes all media personalities. We have less than 80 days to appeal to all the voter demographics that don't understand how their lives would be better under GOP leadership, and worse under the Democrats.
