What’s Happening in Israel
As Israel prepares for a formal ground war with Hamas in Gaza on the country’s southern border, 10,000 new troops have been redirected to the northern border to fight Hezbollah militants invading from Lebanon. Breaking reports from the IDF claim Hezbollah commandos have paraglided into northern Israel hours after anti-tank missiles were launched at Israeli outposts near the Lebanese border.
What’s the difference: While both Hezbollah and Hamas are both Islamic terrorist organizations that oppose Israel and are funded by Muslim countries around the world, they are historically very distinct. The Iran-backed Hezbollah is Shia and based in Lebanon while Hamas is Sunni and based in Gaza.
Third front: As Israel fights Hamas in the south and Hezbollah in the north, a third front of the war may be materializing in the east with Syria. Israeli intercepted and responded to a rocket fired from Syria at Israel last night.
Biden Defends Iran
The Biden administration is playing defense for Iran telling US Senators the terrorist-aligned country had nothing to do with the attacks in Israel.
The problem: This is widely accepted as false. The Wall Street Journal (paywall) published a well-sourced piece claiming Iran approved and helped plan Hamas’s terror attacks days before they occurred.
Context: The Biden administration is attempting to defend the $6 billion it released to the Iranians through banks in Qatar claiming the money was not released so it could not have possibly funded the terror attacks. However, as Secretary of State, Antony Blinken was forced to admit here, money is fungible and "Iran has unfortunately always used and focused its funds on supporting terrorism."
That’s not all: Since the Biden administration took office and eased sanctions on Iran, the regime has pocketed around $80 billion from its illicit oil sales.
Protection: While the focus for international support of Hamas has been focused on Iran, Qatar’s role has been largely ignored. From The Dossier, “The political leadership of Hamas does not live in Gaza, nor do they live in Tehran. They live in Qatar, one of the richest countries in the world, where they are protected by the jihadist-allied regime in Doha.”
Democrats Divide
Democrats are struggling to contain anti-Semitic members of their party following the terrorist attacks in Israel. Here are specific accounts:
Black Lives Matter published a graphic celebrating the Hamas paragliders that raped and killed civilians at a music festival.
Rashida Taleb refused to denounce the beheading of 40 babies in southern Israel. Taleb has previously claimed the Holocaust gave her a “calming feeling.”
The socialist wing of the California Democratic Party claimed the attacks were a result of “Israel’s apartheid regime.”
Jake Tapper on CNN had the best quote: "These last few days have been a real eye-opening period for a lot of people — a lot of Democrats, a lot of progressives — in terms of antisemitism on the left." - Twitter

I am a stopped clock. I am right 2x a day. This is one of those times.
Months ago, when the topic on this forum was the primary and the eventual election, I said that we won’t know what the hot button election issues will be until June 1, 2024.
When Biden became Brandon, and visibly deteriorates before our eyes, that’s an issue.
When Brandon leaves the southern door wide open, and Democrat cities begin to complain, that’s an issue.
When they admit that bad guys have entered our back door, and they have lost track of those bad guys, that is an issue.
When Brandon leaves billions in lethal weaponry in Afghanistan, and when that equipment is traded to Hamas, and when it’s been publicly documented that our equipment killed Israeli babies, that is a problem.
When Brandon funnels billions to Ukraine, and finally must admit that they have no idea where our equipment is, that is a problem.
When Brandon sends $6billion to Iran, and 2 weeks later Israel is attacked, that is a problem.
This is a political campaign that writes itself.
We can no longer afford Jihad Joe.
Now I see why BLM would never allow anyone to say that all lives matter. Clearly, they don’t.
