My take away from Must Read No. 1: Voters want economic relief (money in their pockets) and abortion. Do they want money to pay for abortions?

"No one’s promising you can keep your doctor anymore"

Obamacare came back to bite me again. I tried to cancel my prescription drug coverage, as i get mine through VA. I learned that its not that simple; I must get permission from Medicare in order to discontinue. I've been at it for 4 weeks, and still not done.

Permission from government to stop doing something?

The reason donations to each party is down, is because of Paragraph 2 which details inflation. Extra money just isn't around to give away to any political party.

"Happy Birthday, Adam Smith" is a terrific read. Greatest takeaway for me was "tragedy of the commons," which is making personal decisions for one's immediate advantage in a way that jeopardizes or potentially kills off the company or institution that sustains them.

"Soft Landing" is nothing more than a sales pitch by the banks.

Black Friday is roughly 9%-10% of Christmas sales. If over all Christmas sales are less than 900 billion this will be very short lived.

And let's not forget while sales are up they are up less than inflation.

Gas prices in Georgia are considerably less than $3 for regular, mainly due to Gov. Kemp’s gas tax suspension. I have no idea where Erick buys gas, but Gas Buddy shows Macon area around $2.50.

I remember $0.69/gallon for a brief time in the late 90s!

We just drove from GA to NE Ohio and back and never paid $3.00.
