Germany it seems is the only Western Country that is soundly supporting Jews and Israel. They have learned from their past the horror of hate. They will deport, remove, jail, etc. Antisemitism will not be tolerated and they are not calling for cease fires. They are liberal but with a moral backbone! Ireland has lost its mind calling Hamas freedom fighter and Jews I'll not repeat. UK is like US trying to deal with mess the leftish agendas have triggered and showing alarming antisemitism.

If the WH promises to veto any "stand alone" support for Israel, how can we, as individuals, help Israel? I don't want to send my money to "grifters" trying to get rich off Israel's troubles. Who can we trust?

Wonder if the Palestinian sentiment sweeping across Europe (and America, for that matter) comes largely from the immigrants to whom they've opened their borders wide.

No spying on Hamas, but laser focused on parents at school board meetings, anyone who ever owned a red hat, anyone who was in D.C. on Jan 6, Christians, and people who support the second amendment. Glad they have their priorities straight. I guess a veto for aid to Israel shows clearly that Biden really doesn't stand with Israel, he just wants to use them to get more money for the corrupt Ukraine. Israel doesn't pay him off I guess. What does it take to convince Jews in America that the democrat party does not support them?

Progressive Democrats are outraged over the airstrikes due to the mounting unconfirmed civilian death toll.

1) Hamas will lie about the body count

2) Hamas is responsible for civilian deaths

Oh, wait, you misspelled f'ing moron children in adult bodies.

One might wonder why Gaza has a “refugee camp” so many decades along.

Expand full comment

Isn't the whole Gaza strip a refugee camp because most of its occupants are Palestinians (or their descendants) who were displaced from their land and homes as a result of the creation of the State of Israel in 1948.

That’s the theory. The fifth generation of refugees are usually just residents.

Many may not officially be "refugees," but they are all effectively prisoners in a very small territory where the Israelis control egress/ingress of people and goods. However, as Hamas recently showed there were many holes created which were unknown to Israel's security apparatus.

They had many opportunities to co-exist with Israel and turned down everyone. They did not want to share. Israel did and there are many Palestinians and other Arabs who live in Israel proper. The liberal left in the West fed the PLO, Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas & Hezbollah sympathy & money for years perpatrating the ultimate victimhood while Israelis made something out of their country. Israelis prospered through hard work, the above groups took the money to fund their hate or support the "leaders" lavish lifestyles. If you have a neighbor's dog that continues to attack you, the owners won't train it even if you agree to pay for it and it keeps biting you, your kids, etc. You put up a fence to protect yourself. The owner then throws the dog over your fence. What do you do especially when they say OK, I won't do it but they keep doing anyway.?

I don't always agree with everything Israel has done over the years but it certainly has not been without provocation. Hamas created the situation and has maintained the conditions to keep the hate going along with their misguided, deluded, or antisemitic supporters.

After these attacks , do you blame Israel? If they had open in mitigated borders things would be much worse.

Our PCA church hosts a "Classical Kids" school program, which teaches principles and history following curriculum that would be at home in America circa 1940. Two professionals and a few moms run the program and have some three dozen students of ages ranging from six to teen.
