On the Political article concerning the winding down of journalism, this reminds me of the surprise by many of the radicalization at the universities. News sites have been reporting on the radicalization by professors at these universities for years but when pro Hamas protest broke out, these same news organizations acted surprised. It's as if they did not even read the articles in the news they covered. With the media it's as if they are only now coming to the realization that their industry is shrinking for various reasons, be it lack of trust by the public, the movement from print to online coverage, the movement of good journals to podcast , it's not new. It's taken massive head counts in staff to get some to realize their time at the seat of power is nearly over. And they are acting surprised.

And in my opinion, the progressive bias at Poiltico is an illustration of it all. That also shows how clueless the folks at Politico are.
