China Builds Cuban Spy Base
In a shocking story that is exclusive to The Wall Street Journal, Cuba is allowing China to build a spy base on the impoverished island in exchange for several billion dollars. Less than 100 miles from Florida, the electronic eavesdropping facility would allow China to easily intercept electronic communications in the southeastern United States.
Details: The base is expected to conduct signals intelligence which will likely include the monitoring of emails, phone calls, and satellite transmissions in the United States. Government officials are additionally concerned about the location since a significant portion of military bases are located in the southeast.
Why this matters: China has systematically preyed on economically impoverished or unstable nations to expand its global presence. Hundreds of billions of dollars have been invested into the infrastructure of various African countries by the Chinese in exchange for access to oil and rare earth minerals. Additionally, China has more recently targeted countries like Cambodia and the United Arab Emirates for expanded port access that has direct military implications.

Indicting Donald Trump
The legal team of Donald Trump was informed yesterday that the 45th President is the target of a criminal investigation into his handling of classified documents upon leaving office. The notification signals that prosecutors working for Special Council Jack Smith have concluded their investigation and an indictment is likely in the near future.
Background: The prosecutors purportedly believe that Donald Trump concealed troves of classified documents and devised a plan to prevent federal authorities from discovering them when Mar-A-Lago was “raided” in August. Trump lawyers met with Jack Smith’s team for three hours on Monday claiming prosecutorial misconduct while a former Trump aide appeared before a grand jury in Miami.
Additionally: Special Council Jack Smith’s document case is separate from his parallel investigation into Trump’s attempt to overturn the 2020 election.
Must Read: Where’s Kamala Harris?
Kamala Harris had no public events for half of May and was nowhere to be seen in the bipartisan funding deal struck between Biden and McCarthy. To make matters worse, Biden seemingly blocked Harris completely from the negotiations and relied on a few trusted aids to finalize the deal with the McCarthy team.
Why this matters: Democrats are voicing concern that Harris is not being included in enough substantive work with President Biden to prepare her in case something were to happen to the 80-year-old President. The historically unpopular Vice President has consistently earned an approval rating below that of the already unpopular President Biden.

Re: SPLC Researcher Who Labeled 'Moms for Liberty' a Hate Group Met Biden National Security Officials... The SPLC was started in 1971 by a group of lawyers, headed up by Morris Dees (a guy who is accused of molesting his stepdaughter). While they fought for Civil Rights, it quickly turned into a revenue stream for these guys to get rich… and hoo boy, did they ever get rich. The SPLC has assets totaling over $450 million, with Dees having taken millions for himself over the decades. It’s nothing but an organization of professional grifters… it’s all about getting paid…. But they’re propped up by the media and seem to have a lock on being legitimate in left-wing circles. The reason that BLM failed is because its founder, Patrisse Cullors, was just an amateur grifter… she got too greedy too quickly and bought too many large mansions. Otherwise, the SPLC is just one big massive scam.
It is so clear that any indictment of Trump is a pure misdirection play to avert attention from a highly corrupt Biden administration and their agency lackeys. One would have to be an idiot to think otherwise.
