Ford and the automakers didn’t lose anything. It’s the car buyers who lost. They should have given every union automaker an EV and called it good.

Ford claims the weeks-long strike cost the automaker $1.3 billion and will raise the price of new vehicles by $850 to $900.

The American auto industry is dead. Not today, not tomorrow. You loose a chess game many moves before checkmate. Only with analysis can you see the fatal mistake.

We need to change the Primary system. I live in New Jersey and I get to vote for the winner in previous elections. I’m happy that I had voted for Trump, but he wasn’t my first choice in a primary.

We also need a run off election so that the winner has the support of 50+ of the voters. No more 3rd party spoilers.

Pence has dropped and the others might as well drop including Nikki and Ron. I'm I'm sorry my son, you are too late in asking, Mr. Peabody's coal train has hauled them away. All you DT haters gave this country to Joe Biden and Kam. 2024 will be 2016 over and not 2020. It is eschatologically coming.

Believe as you choose. But you chose wrong in 2020. Selah

"New: Nikki Haley gained the most support in the crowded field surging 10 points into a tie for second place with Ron DeSantis at 16% each." It is not Ron's time and most people know it, as why he is @16% and same for Nik.

While it is true that Biden/Harris are just that bad of candidates they are virtually tied with Trump who has personally made so many bad decisions and said so many stupid things he is under dozens of state and federal indictments, the reverse is also true, Trump is virtually tied with the administration than totally f'ed up Afghanistan and the economy, and set the world on fire making Jimmy Carter look competent.

Let's trade one old white octogenarian for another. Ok, Trump wins, now what? He governs? No, all the indictments continue, except he can no longer fund raise his legal bills with his campaign. He is a lame duck. Republicans might even vote to impeach him if he starts paying for his legal bills inappropriately.

As for Iowa and NH Biden was a dead man walking until SC. So Trump wins early. In 2016 no one thought he would win the primaries, Erick said he will be in front until he not, that didn't happen in '16. I think and hope it does now.

I voted for him twice, I will defend President Trump but not citizen or candidate Trump. I do think many of the indictments will go away and even if found guilty he will win on appeal. That is expensive in money and time and just means he is hamstrung as President and more concerned about his own hide the day he gets out of office than doing anything he says on the campaign trail.

The “Always and Only Trump” people worry me. Do they see this nation of 300+ million with one indispensable man?

You have to ask yourself why he lost in 2020. I’m not a Trump hater, I voted for him.

What I am is a chaos hater and that is exactly what Trump brings to the table. He is his own worst enemy. He lost the 2020 election and he will lose again in 2024 if he is the nominee. Biden is a feckless moron who is ruining this country, Trump should be beating him by 20 points but he is not. Can you tell me why? I want 8 years from someone who can fix this country.

Wow, you said what I said with half the words.

Im very disappointed in the GOP. If Trump is the nominee we lose. Anyone else, we win. The GOP needs to recognize the implications of that and move to put a stop to this nonsense right now.

More need to drop out to give Haley or Desantis a chance.

Anyone still think Unions are good? What have they done beyond chasing away American companies and costing us money. I recognize the contribution of unions but they have now become something that is no longer needed.

60-70% of the cost of a vehicle made in the US is because of unions.

Of all the candidates that are talking I only see one that is doing. How can you compare what anyone else has done with what Governor DeSantis has done for the state and people of Florida. I truly believe that he can do that for the rest of the country . Some people are talkers and some people are doers.

For me 2024 has been about DeSantis and Haley. DeSantis was there first, he was a presumptive candidate for so long.

Haley has the same street cred as DeSantis and was the U.N. Ambassador. She know how to navigate international politics.

Either would be great and better than Trump. I won't bad mouth one over the other. It will be next summer before running mates are selected.

It even more proves to me that more people vote emotionally than logically. DeSantis is, as you say, doing everything we would like to see done. And gives every reason to believe he would continue to do so on a national level. But he isn't the inspiring speaker that people love to listen to. So, they are choosing people who stir their emotions rather than look at actions.

It nearly breaks my brain trying to understand why DeSantis, who has an astounding record of real, measurable results isn’t doing better in the polls.

That is on him and his campaign, starting with his announcement on FB and X, that was dumb.

My competition is better than me is not an excuse. DeSantis needs to be the leader of his campaign just as he is the leader of FL. If he can't do that it's ok him.

RUBIO: We have one word for terror supporters who abuse our broken visa system: "Leave"

I have two words, "Get out." Three words: "Get out, NOW."

To me, "Leave" is more of a request. My version is less subtle. It's not a request, it's an order.

Biden has one word for them too, welcome.

MSNBC like the dirty Sánchez and Biden likes the back door.
