Jen Psaki is leaving the Biden administration next week to join MSNBC. Her replacement is Karine Jean-Pierre who will be the first black and openly gay press secretary. Karine Jean-Pierre is in a long-term relationship with CNN reporter Suzanne Malveaux. Full story at The New York Post.
Sinking Russian Battleships
Yesterday we learned from The New York Times (sorry, paywall) that the United States is actively providing information to the Ukrainians to kill Russian generals. Today we learned that the United States provided intelligence to the Ukrainians that lead to the sinking of the Russian cruiser Moskva. The sinking of the Moskva resulted in “significant Russian casualties” and was the largest Russian warship sunk since World War 2. Here are more Ukraine headlines:

Democrats Beg Pelosi To Fund Police
As crime spikes in major cities across the country ahead of a brutal midterm election, House Democrats sent a letter begging Pelosi to push legislation that funds police. The plea comes as internal polling for Democratic congressional candidates trends historically low. This is from NBC:
The letter is the latest sign that Democrats, fighting to preserve their fragile majority this fall, are concerned about rising crime and the “defund the police” messaging from progressives that contributed to the party’s loss of 13 House seats in the 2020 election.
Troubling Economy
This year’s market slump may not be over according to strategists at Bank of America. Yesterday’s historic collapse saw the tech-heavy Nasdaq drop 5% with other major indexes not far behind. Bloomberg tells us that the first four months of 2022 is the worst performance by the S&P 500 since 1939. The news comes after the fed raised rates by 50 basis points. Powell suggested another 50 basis point increase will be necessary for both June and July. Here are some economic clips that may interest you:

Market Snapshot:
So the left runs a false story about the Russians posting bounties for US Servicemen in Afghanistan and the collective Chickenhawk establishment loses its mind. Now some freaking idiots in their narcissistic delusion that they are Jack Ryan leaks that they gave the targeting info to the Ukrainians for all sorts of mayhem from generals being offed to ships being sunk?
Is this freaking smart? Reminiscent of a hand-wringing administration fearful of escalation? Or the actions of a bunch of lightweights looking for a win they can point to regardless of the long term consequences? IMO this is yet again an example of a latte fueled bunch of garbage promulgated by the politically fueled shithead-acracy. Our sons and daughters are going to pay for their desperation to be seen as having a non-existent backbone.
In the absence of a draft who pays? Yes, there are fabulous folks who joined to better themselves and serve there country on top of a bedrock of multi-generational warriors bled thin by the woke opportunists. It certainly won't be the leakers from the legacy fueled gentrified crowd.
