Democrats have a new strategy: Tell voters to focus on what they are trying to do instead of what they have actually done. Democrats are drafting legislation on inflation, gas prices, and baby formula shortages that have no chance of passing both chambers of congress. A shocking new poll finds Brian Kemp is opening up a commanding lead on David Perdue. The Fox News poll conducted May 12th-16th has Kemp ahead of Perdue by 32 points.

New York Democrats

Democrats in New York have a Grade-A intraparty fight on their hands that some are calling “racially motivated.” Here’s the Cliff Notes version: Democrats lost a congressional seat in New York after redistricting completely upended congressional lines. DCCC chairman Sean Patrick Maloney is being accused of racism for primarying incumbent black Rep. Mondaire Jones instead of running for reeleciton in his own district. To make matters worse, Reps. Jerrold Nadler and Carolyn Maloney, each of whom have been in congress for 30+ years, left their districts to run in Maloney’s old district. Punchbowl calls the move unprecedented.
