Why Fox Fired Tucker
Tucker Carlson called the CEO of Fox News the c-word in texts and emails released in the discovery of the Dominion Voting Case. Fox lawyers had the chance to have the statement redacted but Carlson “wanted the world to know.”
People familiar with the matter who spoke to The Wall Street Journal on the condition of anonymity claim this and statements like it was the undoing of Tucker Carlson. Relations between Carlson and Fox had been deteriorating for years and this
In recent years, battles between Mr. Carlson and Fox management got so bad that former Trump aide Raj Shah was appointed to be his internal advocate and an intermediary between Mr. Carlson and Fox’s communications department, according to people familiar with the arrangement and filings in the Dominion case.

The Biden Plan
Yesterday’s announcement of Biden’s decision to run for reelection was overshadowed by the departures of Tucker Carlson and Don Lemon and Biden’s campaign couldn’t be happier.
Why this matters: The Biden campaign appears to be repackaging the successful 2020 “basement campaign” that largely avoided the limelight and kept the focus on the opposition. The gambit by the Biden team largely relies on censorious headlines about Donald Trump as he continues to lead the GOP field.
Speaking of such headlines, Donald Trump posted on Truth Social that he may avoid all GOP debates completely. Read his full statement here.
Part of the Biden campaign’s strategy is to rehabilitate the image of Kamala Harris who the campaign views as a net negative on the ticket. The gaffe-prone Vice President has seen unprecedented staff turnover with no policy wins to tout. To make matters worse, a growing number of stories point to growing distrust between the Biden and Harris teams. The Biden team views Harris as a liability who has blown multiple high-profile interviews and can’t manage her team while the Harris team says Biden has saddled her with no win issues.
With a paltry approval rating of 37%, Biden’s team has so far offered only cosmetic fixes such as featuring Harris more prominently on the campaign website and the announcement video.

SCOTUS Case
The Supreme Court is hearing the case of Geraldine Tyler today. Tyler’s home was foreclosed on when she fell $2,300 behind on taxes and the county added an additional $13,000 penalty. The county took the home and sold it while keeping the profits. Similar horrible stories are popping up across the country and the Supreme Court will determine today if this is legal.
Debt Ceiling Bill?
The House Rules Committee voted at 2:20 this morning to approve a highly negotiated debt ceiling bill and send it to the House floor for a final vote. McCarthy made substantial concessions to appease a handful of members in the Republican five-seat majority. Matt Gaetz and Andy Biggs got their way with work requirements for federal aid while congressmen from the Midwest forced McCarthy to cave on ethanol demands. McCarthy claims a final vote will take place later this week.
Defending Bud Light
The New York Times offered an odd defense of Dylan Mulvaney and Bud Light claiming the boycott did not have specific demands and won’t impact Anheuser-Busch long term. The piece went so far as to say Republicans wanted to “restrict the lives of young transgender people.”
The criticism of Bud Light, amid other complaints about brand partnerships with transgender people, comes as Republican state lawmakers are proposing legislation that seeks to regulate the lives of young transgender people, restrict drag shows in a way that could include performances by transgender people, and require schools to out transgender students to their parents.

I don't want to see patterns were there are none. You asked the question, at what point is Trump too busy defending himself to effectively run for president?
Disney has a legitimate case against the State of Florida. There are questions of legal precedence that need to be addressed.
Is Disney also attempting to distract DeSantis? Are we see the next tactic emerge? First it was character assassination (attack ad 101), then false public accusations (Anita Hill, Christine Blasey Ford), then digging up childhood social media posts, now legal fights.

Good grief, we are in the age of software driven hardware. There is no reason car manufacturers can't accommodate Apple and Android users.
For manufacturers to impose their own stupid interface is just stupid.
