If they had all this stuff on Robinson why didn’t they use it when he ran for Lieutenant Governor? I’m sorry and I’m not a Trump apologist or conspiracy freak, but too much of what the legacy media has put out over the years - particularly about Republicans - has been false. And too much of what the Democrats have done has been swept under rug and if aired it’s framed as a right wing hit job. Years later when the truth comes out - it’s sorry, my bad - and then they move on. I’m not a NC voter but I trust what Robinson says instead of CNN. They are deathly afraid of a black conservative governor, the way they were afraid of a black Supreme Court Justice.

Might AP have had to amend their original, erroneous, reporting on the connection between the judge murdered in KY & an addiction program because it is under investigation? One who is familiar with the area & it's politics suspects from afar that this was more political violence.

What irony. Trump tampers down and the people around him screw (no pun intended) up. Mark Robinson is a narcissistic fool. Where do these people come from.

I honestly don’t see how Trump can win. I really don’t.

Ohio Gov Mike DeWine's editorial in the NYT about the Haitian immigrants made me want to vomit. In "Here is the Truth About Springfield," DeWine praised the Haitians as "hard workers" who just wanted to escape their war-torn country for Springfield because of the lower costs, plentiful jobs, educational opportunities, and a chance for a better life there. He gave lip service to the "good, decent, welcoming people" of the town, but he couldn't resist criticizing Trump, Vance, and "others" for continuing "to repeat claims that lack evidence and disparage the legal migrants living in Springfield." DeWine is blind to the suffering brought on his own citizens by the mass influx of thousands of foreigners who can't speak English and have no knowledge or respect for local culture and customs. Under federal law, they are entitled to public benefits, such as Medicaid and food stamps. If they are eighteen or older they can get a driver's license without having to take a test (they are reckless drivers, having killed at least two people in the last year, a school child, and a grandmother). They are often first in line for jobs that would have gone to local residents. Haitians have no business being in Springfield, a city already ravaged by economic decline, unemployment, illegal drugs, and crime. Yet, DeWine has the gall to say that Springfield is "having a resurgence in manufacturing and job creation," thanks in part to the "dramatic influx of Haitian migrants who have arrived in the city over the past three years to fill jobs." If DeWine were the caring and compassionate governor he purports to be, he would have sent the first wave of Springfield immigrants packing to Columbus or DC or some other "sanctuary city" that claims to want them. He would have done all he could to improve the lot of the people of Springfield. Instead, he allowed a hoard of immigrants to overrun a small city that was already hurting and bleeding. If DeWine really wants to know the truth about Springfield, he should watch this video, which has nearly a million hits in only a few days:

Campaign ads: I heard about the 2012 Smith-Mundt act(?) yesterday but have seen no comments on it. It allows the US to propagandist, if I'm reading it properly, but also allows campaign ads that lie. We see that ALL THE TIME NOW.

Georgia Election Baord requires hand count of ballots this fall:

https://www.theepochtimes.com/us/georgia-election-board-approves-rule-requiring-hand-count-of-ballots-5727574

For those of you in Erick's audience who believe that Georgia's 2020 and 2022 elections were accurately tabulated and reported (and have hassled me as an "election denier" when I pointed out the visible problems with our State's procedures), please explain to me why this change to election regulations is necessary.

They did this because Sean Hannity and now Trump (who definitely listens to Hannity) have insisted that every state needs hand-counted ballots. The people on that election board are all Trump supporters.

If Trump is an antisemite because he ate with one what does that say about Joe Biden having lunch with Hunter and his Ukrainian partners. Instead of Scott Jennings apologizing for Trumps lunch he should use their standard against them about Joe and Hunter. If Joes not guilty then Trumps not guilty lol

Latest IA poll 9/16-18 has Trump up by 4 in NC. Depends on the poll I guess. All a psy-op to confuse, discourage and keep the media relevant as American trust in the fourth estate continues to decline.

Politico thinks Robinson could potentially lose NC for Trump: https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2024/09/19/trump-three-swing-states-election-win-00179648

Polling in NC has been trending hard for Harris lately; I wonder if this has something to do with that.

I'm writing in Haley. That should send the message to the GOP that they need to do better with their candidates and platform, and to the Dems that they need to do better with their candidates and platform.

PS: Politico: Cobb County is not "exurban", you bunch of damyankees.

Good grief Trump, campaign on this.

Biden-Harris, beyond f'ing up the economy and bringing back Jimmy Carter's inflation, will continue to screw working class people well after she is gone.

They should. Even though there are probably more important things. But I already have a dishwasher that is crap, an electric hot water that won't let me have water as hot as I want it, and am buying used, old style washing machines or repairing them rather than buy the new ones and am actively looking for an old working wringer washer! As for light bulbs, I am pretty sure I got enough of the incandescent ones several years ago when a local company shut down to last my lifetime.

Search out and purchase a pre-2004 light truck or midsize SUV while you're at it. That year more or less marks the intrusion of excessive electronics and bureaucratic warning devices into American-made cars.

I have a 1995 F150 that I bought new. I am hanging on to it. Also have a couple of 2007 Toyota SUV's that are hopefully not too electronically compromised.
