The next budget vote is coming soon and these selfish holdouts in the GOP refusing to elect Jordan are going to ensure that the GOP gets tagged with the responsibility for a government shutdown.

Anyone allowing the hospital deniers to propagate their lies never again gets to toss around "fact checkers" or "disinformation" ever again. Hope I wasn't unclear.

Yep, between the premium and deductible that is what my wife and I pay.

If we just self pay my wife and I might spend $5 or $6k. Unless a surgery or hospital stay is necessary.

Something else Obama broke, I can't just buy a plan to cover major medical expenses. I have to but this crap health insurance that only benefits me if something really bad happens.

Health Insurance Premiums Now Cost $24,000 a Year, Survey Says - Bloomberg (paywall) How much are the illegal aliens paying? I thought thy said obamacare was the resolution to all things and they would bring it to Gov't single pay?

Vehicle and Homeowners Insurance premiums have exploded. How will/are the lower 70% who can not pay a $500 emergency vehicle repair, and doesn't have $1k in the bank going to exists? All the big penthouse boys don't really know and/or care about the flyover population problems - yet.

P&G flexes pricing power again in latest quarter. Wall Street rewards the stock. Same is happening at Wal-Mart, Costco, Sams, et als. Brothers and Sisters prepare for huge debt reset Implosion coming very soon. Selah

Let’s all please refer to the muslim terrorists now as the “other team” so that we’re using proper, consistent language in this matter, following the lead of the (pretend) President of the United States of America who used that term. I know little about the protocols involved in International relations and don’t want to sound common or out of touch if I discuss the war with other people. (Also, did they just leave Air Force One’s engines running at idle speed at the airport while the “President” ran in to give his 90 seconds of remarks before then returning to our Country since no one else would meet with him while he was over there?)

Pure and and simple- the person most to blame for the Speakership fiasco is Matt Gaetz. I have often admired his positions , but this was a kamikaze mission. You don’t blow up something of value and replace it with chaos. His lack of foresight except about promoting himself is appalling.

You could have a picture with 'Death to Israel' in Arabic scrawled in crayon on what's left of the rocket

and most of the Left would say its either Israeli disinformation/propaganda or an AI-generated fake.

I'm seeing many X accounts with a large following, who normally seem conservative, sharing the fake news of the hospital bombing. Some say they are just sharing information. Others seems to blame Israel for most the problems. And none seem willing to correct the record of the fake news they shared. They sure have a talent for sharing just enough to get people riled up and get views, comments, and likes.

It's a terrible grift and likely a way to make money on X with no concern for truth.

If I hear or see the words "election denier" applied to anyone in the republican party one more time I am going to blow a gasket. No freaking body has denied that there was an election and everyone with two brain cells to rub together knows the election was openly and successfully interfered with. And this continued petty crap from republicans in the house is sure to make dems wildly successful next election. "I won't vote for Jordan because someone put pressure on me:" How juvenile can these people be? Apparently, there aren't any adults who can look at the world and get over their hurt feelings because someone asked them to do something to move things along. They all may as well just pack and go home and let the democrat do what they want. They pretty much are anyhow.

And we could talk the rest of the afternoon about the "election deniers" on the democrat side of the government.

An IDF spokesman described in great detail the hospital incident. Was the MSNBC reporter too busy to attend this briefing? When evil tactics succeed, they proliferate.

There is more credible video evidence, showing two Hamas types discussing how their rocket exploded midair and fell on the hospital.

Erick, you are doing what the Democrats do and it is not good.

"I think Jordan is toast at this point. Maybe he can claw some votes back. But the reality is the outside conservative pressure campaign poisoned the well. One member told me Jordan had it in the bag till the conservative groups pissed everyone one with overkill. Conservative groups tend to rationalize it as “they were never going to vote for him anyway,” but I actually think the conservative groups that forgot all the prior lessons might should have listened this time."

It is your cohort of establishment Republicans that are the dividing rebels and yet you blame the conservative side for for the continued division.

McCarthy is out. Scalise could not get it done. Jordan is the last man standing. The GOP holdouts are the ONLY Republicans guilty of continuing the media narrative of chaos in the GOP.

But this isn't really new. It is that cohort of Republicans that elected Joe Biden and put Democrats in control of the Senate. They threw their little tantrums to make themselves feel better about themselves and threw the country into the toilet.

That would be the same cohort of Republicans who ignore the Trump economy and the Trump foreign policy, as well as Trump's public support today, and refuse to acknowledge that Trump should be the GOP candidate in 2024.

Agree. They hate Trump generally because they FEEL that he is outside their exclusive club... not worthy of their position of high and mighty political and moral status. And they, like Democrats, find THAT more important than country. They have to be pacified and convinced that they are right and righteous... but the problems are so big and in need of drastic change to fix, that it cannot be done that way.

The only Republicans that are real Republicans are those that value country over self. Yes, we have self-serving House members on the new conservative side (they call them MAGA as a derogatory label... which says more about the labeler than it does those they attempt to denigrate), but at least they are aligned with an America-first agenda. Those Republican holdouts are aligned with a "me-first" agenda.
