I have a question. If the Trump team is concerned about bringing in the undecided voters, especially women, shouldn’t they have had Nicki Hailey on stage instead of some inappropriate comedian at MSG? Who dropped that ball?

If Trump wins and it's shown that early voting was more beneficial for the GOP, you can bet the Democrats will want to get rid of it.

It’s okay to call CNN. Communist News Network.

Erick’s final 2:30 monologue is chilling, though I think he’s overly attributing strength to our opponents, especially Russia and the NORK’s. Russia isn’t “pulling punches” in Ukraine; they legitimately can’t do any better. Finns are culturally superior at eliminating Russian invaders if it comes to that.

I do agree we need a strong national security President and I think Trump is marginally better in that regard.

Joy is a nazi phrase as well the Big Lie is. Seems like the dems have more in common than the republicans do.

In my view the use of Naziism is over used in politics. In reality none of them are close to what that regime was and no politician currently in power or out of power could implement even half the policies if they did desire to do so. The only concentration camps ive seen were in Australia during Covid and even they were not even close to what happened in Nazi Germany. So can we stop please.

Dems are getting ridiculous with its use and thats all I have to say about it.

Did you see the Rep. Dingell comments about the Donald setting up internment camps? Isn't she under investigation for all sorts of corruption charges? Democrats are getting beyond hysterical.

We the republicans are Nazis when the democrats are crawling with antisemitism from the college campuses, to the media, the House of Representatives, the Pentagon, the UN and beyond. Sort of boggles the mind doesn’t it.

Two news headlines today.

"Young men outnumbering young women in church attendance."

"Young women gravitate toward modern witchcraft as psychology fails, practitioners and scholars say."

Erick has point out the coriliation between men being put upon by society with respect to being marginalized, criticized, and feminized, and seeking solace in church. The problem is if they fall in with the theo-bros they are not seeking God.

How young. In my Daughters local HS Church group women outnumber the boys 2 - 1.

I am not sure what that means because to be honest it needs to be broken down by area. AKA the upbringing culture in Southern California is very different from the up bringing in Southern GA. You will probably find that in most southern states its fairly even and in southern GA witchcraft is not as prevalent.

Its just too general to draw any conclusions in my view.

But the problem is the TV culture right now is VERY anti Christian and anti religious in general.

The Chicago's have story line after storyline of Religious nut jobs fooling around. Law and Order SVU is basically all of that. Very anti religious and most of the Pedo's are tied to Christianity or go to church. The agenda and message is clear.

Then you have things like Stranger Things, which I watch, that sets up a fantasy world that should not be taken seriously and more of a general battle of good vs evil. Instead you have kids who take that a little too far. Mostly due to their parental involvement.

Additionally, they need to research how many young women are turning from the church who play sports because most females who play sports are typically church goers as well.

Final issue - What church? Because many "Christian" churches are now anything but. Gay pastors, gay Choirs, gay group counselors encouraging and teaching children that immoral acts are A-OK in gods eyes. For that view, I sincerely hope they are turning away from those churches because that God they worship is NOT the god of Mathew, Jacob or Abraham.

From a purely theological worldview: the men seem to be finding their answers. The young women are making a choice which will demand they continue to travel further and further away from reality and yet never find satisfaction. The big question? What will the future be like in 10 years?

It will come down to who is correct. Is it like 2022 or 2020. 2022 the republican support was over stated in the poll, although some polls were correct. Or is it like 2020 where Trumps support was understated.

Difficult to say honestly. 2022 is just not a good marker to go by. Trump wasn't on the ballot neither was Biden or Kamala. Vote by proxy through mid terms is not a real good indicator of support. In 2014 republicans overwhelmingly won back the Senate and increased the House. 2018 it was lost back to the Dems then in 2022 House went back to the Republicans but barely.

As you know 2020 Trump barely lost despite the losses in 2018.

So, in my view, its more like 2020. Aka Trumps support is understated which means Kamala is actually much farther behind that it seems.

looking at the data pull from the Polls they are over polling dems, as always except Rasmussen which is more 50 - 50. but we are not a 50-50 situation in any state. But main point. I think its like 2020 and 2016. Trumps poll numbers are understated and he's way ahead. But all that matters is the vote. Right now its looking good. We shall see.

Expand full comment

Yep. It could be that Trump is "under" polled which makes me grin wider. I never mentioned 2022. The numbers I quoted were 2020 Biden/Trump vs today Harris/Trump. Same day prior to the election. They reflect a substantial shift in voter sentiment in these battleground states.

Expand full comment

What I said was many people and media outlets are saying that. “Well 2022 dems were under polled and look what happened…” which is to me a bit outlandish. Mid terms don’t equal general.

That was my point.

Trump nor any President was on the ballot in 2022. Not enough reason to go vote for a lot of people.

At least there's no presidential run-off that will keep the ads going after Nov. 5.

Or any state wide runoffs this year. We’ll probably get one in Atlanta for a special city council seat, so the whole game there is getting into a runoff where there’ll be ~10% of the vote.

i must be way behind. Did they eliminate runoffs in GA for general elections?

No, but they’re no statewide elections this year. Just General Assembly for state offices.
